Ten years ago, I quit my job as a paraprofessional (teacher's assistant) to student teach. Unfortunately, it was also around this time that my husband got hurt and couldn't work. Soon, we had to accept the fact that, at least for now, he could not hold a traditional job outside of the house.

The ten-year journey has been hard. This Side of Perfect, my blog, has been a place where I freely share my own struggles with life. Recently, I decided that over the past ten years, my husband and I have gathered quite a bit of wisdom about navigating life when a curve ball is thrown at you in unexpected ways.

I decided recently to rebrand my blog from "a woman trying her best but not always hitting the mark" to "living a life more full-filled" (typo, intentional).

This Etsy shop is meant to supplement my blog content with digital products readers can use in their own homes.
