Natural forms crafted out of silver . . with beads that catch the light and echo the earth
Ever since she learned to solder silver in the Jewelry Workshop at Dartmouth College (where she studied Studio Art-Painting, and Elementary Education), Kristin has been spending way too many hours away from her “real work” (be that painting, teaching or filmmaking), making jewelry. Though she has tried, she simply cannot get rid of her jewelry-making supplies. So Pixie Petals continues. . . .specializing in beaded bobby pins, hammered silver lariats and a range of casual chic earrings, necklaces and accessories.

Kristin was born in NC and resides in Red Hook, Brooklyn. She graduated from Dartmouth College (Studio Art/Elementary Ed) and received an Ed.M. in Art Education from Columbia Teachers College. She is married to Sean and is mother of two young girls.
