About

Those Days is dedicated to remembering "those days" whether they be days past or days to come we want them to be memorable!

As a child, my mother called me, "the bag lady." I liked to save every little thing that I associated with having even the slightest bit of sentimental value. As a teenager, I continued with this habit, collecting my memories in hat boxes, book boxes, treasure chests, etc. As an adult, not much has changed; I've still got every heartfelt note I've ever been written, every concert ticket, every birthday and holiday card...

By filling my shop with beautiful birdcages, vintage-looking trunks, adorable little boxes, and various accessories, I hope to provide people with cherished pieces so they can collect their love letters, trinkets, and most valued keepsakes.

The items in my shop are multi-functional and can be used for all of life's extra special moments. From a proposal, to your wedding day, to your anniversary; a baby shower, to graduation, or a milestone birthday, there is sure to be something found that can memorialize that special day. And when the guests have gone home, and the party is over, the items can be displayed around your home and are a wonderful reminder of.....those days!

C A N C E L L A T I O N S:
♡ A request for cancellation must be received within 24 hours from purchase time. After this time, the process of creation has begun and cannot be halted.

R E T U R N S:
♡ This shop does not accept returns.
♡ Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.
• The items in my shop are "made to order" for your special day; meaning that your order is being created specifically for you!
• For this reason, as well as, the purpose of the items use, and the products ability to be customized to your specifications, I cannot accept returns.
• "Ready to Ship" and Sale items are also ineligible for return.

E X C H A N G E S:
♡ In certain circumstances, I will accept an exchange. After receiving your package, please send me a message within 48 hours to discuss the possibility of an exchange.
• All shipping costs associated with an approved exchange will be the responsibility of the customer.

D A M A G E S:
If an item is damaged in shipping, please get in touch with me immediately. You will be required to send photos of the shipping box and the item for insurance purposes. I will then take the necessary steps to rectify the situation.

• I ship all packages via United States Postal Service (USPS)
• You choose the method of USPS shipping at checkout.

♡ HAS MY PACKAGE SHIPPED YET?
• On the day that your package ships, you will receive an email confirmation with a tracking number. You can also find the tracking number by visiting your "Purchases" on Etsy.

♡ WHEN WILL YOU SHIP MY PACKAGE?
• To check when your package is due to ship, please visit your "Purchases" on your Etsy account.

♡ WHEN WILL MY PACKAGE ARRIVE?
• Please factor in both PROCESSING time + SHIPPING time, before purchase, to make sure that you have ordered with enough time for the package to arrive to you. Check the guidelines below.

♡ HOW LONG DOES SHIPPING TAKE?
Actual shipping time is estimated based upon how close/far you are from the point of shipping (New Jersey, United States) and the method of shipping that you choose.

• Parcel Select Ground within the US is approximately 2-14 business days.
• HI and AK Ground shipping *may* take up to 8 weeks.
• Priority Mail is approximately 1-3 business days.
• First Class Mail is approximately 3-5 business days.
• Shipping outside the US is approximately 6-10 business days.
• PRIORITY EXPRESS MAIL is 1-2 business days.

♡ IS IT GUARANTEED TO ARRIVE BY XX DATE?
• Time frames are not a guarantee; I cannot guarantee arrival dates.
• USPS estimated shipping/arrival dates, are just that, an estimate.
• I am not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers.
• Items may take longer to arrive to you due to: your location, holidays, weather, natural disaster, delays caused by USPS, etc.
• Purchasing the "Rush Order Upgrade" will make creation time faster, thus it can be on its way to you sooner.

♡ HOW MUCH DOES SHIPPING COST?
• Shipping costs are determined by USPS, based upon size and weight of packaging as well as the location of its destination.
• Included in these costs are: A tracking number, insurance for your package &, a small handling fee for clean recyclable boxing, secure and presentable packaging.
• If you are interested in purchasing multiple items, please send me a message, so that I can combine and reduce your shipping costs.


♡ THE SHIPPING ADDRESS IS WRONG! WHAT TO DO?
• Packages will only be sent to the address left at checkout.
• If you have made an error, please contact me as soon as possible.
• A change of address may result in additional shipping costs due to change of location.

♡ MAIL THEFT/UNDELIVERED ITEMS
• It is the customers responsibility to provide a safe and accurate address for shipping.
• If you would like "signature required" upon delivery, this is an additional cost and can be purchased by finding the appropriate listing in my shop section "Upgrades & Add-Ons".
• If tracking says the item has been delivered, but you do not have it, you will need to contact the local authorities and report a mail theft.

♡ Upon receiving your package, you may be required to pay VAT, customs fees, import taxes etc. These fees are NOT included in the original shipping costs and are the responsibility of the customer. I am unable to predict these costs. Please be aware of your regions customs/import policies before purchasing. I am also not responsible for delays in delivery due to customs. Refusal to pay customs fees, or refusal to retrieve a package from customs, will result in the package being returned to sender. Return to sender packages, are unauthorized returns, and will not be eligible for a refund. You will be required to pay re-shipping costs.

Information is also referenced to privately analyze business to be able to continue to provide service, and analyze growth, changes, etc. and is limited to general locations such as a state or country as a whole, or trends in items, colors, styles, etc. and will not mention or note any one person specifically.

HOW DO CARDS GO INTO THE BIRDCAGE?

By using the latch above the "Cards" sign, the top half of the cage will open on a hinge. Cards can be placed inside. Cards will not fit through the doors, the side bars, or the top bars. All cages must be opened, using the latch, in order for a card to be placed inside.

DO THE BIRDCAGES LOCK?

No, the birdcages do not lock. They are secured closed by using the latch above the "Cards" sign.

I do offer locked versions of the LARGE CAGES ONLY. If you need a piece that locks, you can purchase a lock&key upgrade here:
