I started sewing when I was growing up. Since then I started making other things for myself: pot holders, purses, towels, etc. They are a little expensive than something similar since I tend to over-engineer the items I make.

I endeavor to keep the user in mind as I create items, including after purchase care by the user. Whenever I make an all-fabric item I think about cleaning it. Most items I make are able to go into the washing machine (we all want easy). A few items will need to be spot cleaned or hand washed or dry cleaned - mostly those made of wool.

My husband, when he has time, makes items from wood and other solid materials.

We provide unique, high quality handcrafted items for daily use. They may be made from wood, thread, fabric, or yarn, but all are created with care in our smoke- and pet-free studios.

The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
  • Items on sale
Returns and exchange details
If a package has been damaged, or if an item breaks before delivery (ex: broken glass or wood), please send a photo taken when you open the package and discover the problem. Then please convo us with the photo and explain the problem. We will take it on a case by case basis from there. Many of our items are one of a kind, so we may not be able to replace. In that event we would refund.

If the item you purchased does not satisfy you, please contact us for return shipping information within 14 days of delivery.

Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. You must ship WITH a tracking number which you must share with us (so that all may follow the process of the package).

If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

If you would rather exchange your item for another one listed in the shop, please let us know, and we will make arrangements on a case by case basis.

Returns are only allowed up to 30 days after delivery.

I strive to ship quickly, sometimes within an hour, so I may not be able to cancel an order. Please do contact me if you wish to cancel, and we will see what we can work out.
Payment

Etsy keeps your payment information secure. Etsy shops never receive your credit card information.
Shipping
Processing time (how long before I ship): usually 1-3 business days, but it may be longer in autumn and early winter.

Customs and import taxes that may apply are the buyers responsibility. We do NOT pay customs / duty / VAT. Depending on the value of your order you may need to do so.

Delays due to customs are impossible to predict.

I ship USPS. If they cannot verify your address, I will contact you, which will add another step to the shipping process.

Wherever possible we use new packing material with recycled content. Please convo us if you have special shipping needs.

Due to the size variation of our items, we do not have combined shipping set up. We will combine items in one package if possible. We will refund shipping overages when more than USD $ 2.

What is your mailing list (First Chance) like?

Less often than every other week we email info on items ready for Etsy, with price.

If someone on the list wants to buy, we make a custom listing. Offer valid 1 week after email sent; first come, first served.

Three different options: "Kitchen", "Totes Bags and Purses", and "Wood and Glass". We only send what you sign up for.

Items from other categories are included in the regular email.
