Announcement   Welcome to my shop! While weaving is a slow craft, with each individual yarn passing through my hands no less than five times before weaving can commence, I wouldn't trade the experience for anything else. This time constraint does keep my inventory low at times, but do check back often. My head is overflowing with ideas!

I hope as you browse my items you get a sense of the care and attention to detail that goes into every piece. I use only the best material, and lovingly handcraft everything with an eye toward aesthetics, texture, design, and ease of care. Everything I create reflects my commitment to quality and frankly, my obsession with the creative process.

I word about my shop's name. Laughter is hugely important to me in all aspects of my life. I love to make people laugh, or at least bring a smile to their faces. I chose Threadbare Designs, not because my creations are thin, tattered, well worn. I chose it because it made me smile, and because this shop was started with a hope, a dream, to create beautiful things by hand, with little but a wing and a prayer. "The cupboard was pretty bare," when I started, but my head and my heart were always full of intricate concepts, waiting to be made!

Please remember to check out my sold items to get an idea of things I've made and am trying to restock. And remember, if you don't see anything you like but have some ideas, convo me! And you can keep up with my projects and ideas on my blog;

Love this Wrap Scrap Dumpling bag! The weaving is beautifully done. The size and shape of the bag is just right to hold important items from my wallet which lets me leave my over-sized pocketbook at home!

Additional policies and FAQs
f you would like a custom item please use Request Custom Item feature and I will do my best to accommodate your wishes. I will let you know if it is possible and if not, suggest similar substitutions. I will also give you an estimated time of completion of the project. For woven items, I only have one loom and this time may vary. If I already have a project on the loom I will have to complete that one before starting another. I will, however, always give you an update as to progress.
