Lovely piece and great ship!
An eclectic collection of fine antique tribal embroidered textiles
I have been an avid collector for a long time. Over the years, I collected many pieces of fine art; paintings, sculpture, photographs, drawings, tribal art and tribal textiles. When it came time to downsize a few years ago, it was tough trying to decide on which pieces I was going to let go.
The pieces you see here are only a small part of a collection I acquired from a man who is a leading authority on tribal textiles from the region of Kutchh in Gujarat. They are all prime examples of well executed tribal folk art, about 70 to 90 years old , all from the region of Gujarat, India.
