Hello there!!! My name is Abby, I am the designer and creator of all of the items that you find in my store. I love sharing my creations with the world and am very confident that if you buy from Thready Mamma, you will not be disappointed!
I prewash all of my fabric prior to garment construction to be certain it will not shrink up in the wash. I serge every seam with my Singer professional 5 serger and top stitch every seam with my Singer brilliance sewing machine! Every top I make has reinforced straps and loops to ensure there will be no wardrobe malfunctions :)
I wash my personal Items in the washing machine and dry in the dryer, however it is recommended that gentle cycle and low tumble dry is used. Any items where elastic is used I recommend hang drying to preserve the elastic as dryers tend to dry it out and cause it to become brittle over time.
***because I work with a lot of quilters cotton, you may periodically need to iron the straps on any item containing them.***

Accepted payment methods

Accepts Etsy Gift Cards and Etsy Credits

Returns and exchanges
All sales are final! Please double check your measurements with the measurements I listed to ensure a great fit! I take all bust measurements at the fullest part of the chest! I will not issue a refund simply because the item didn't fit. I will be happy to do some alterations to the garment to accommodate the difference but the buyer will be charged an alteration fee and be responsible for all shipping costs involved in such an arrangement. If you’re not sure about something, please convo me and I will help you determine the fit. If you are unhappy with your purchase and want to discuss an alteration, please convo me as well. I take pride in the quality of my creations, if you notice a defect, please contact me within 2 days of receiving the garment so we can discuss a return. All returned items will be issued a store credit. I will not accept any returns once the item has been worn, used or washed. As every item in my shop is a one of a kind creation, I cannot simply replace it with another of the same.
I prefer payments through pay pal, but I do accept credit cards, checks and money orders. If paying by check, I will not ship your item out until your check has cleared which will take approximately 3-5 business days.
When working with a custom order: When starting a custom order I require 50% deposit of total price before starting any custom order to ensure it is a serious inquiry. That 50% is non refundable. Before shipping it to you the other 50% will be due. You have the choice of just paying it all up front as well. Custom orders are very time consuming as I want to be certain you are getting exactly what you envision. My position on customs is that you are the artist and I am your paintbrush. I will contact you and we will discuss all the details of your garment. Based on what you desire, I will give you my quote. 50% of the quote will be your deposit price. I will create a custom listing in my shop that you will have to purchase before I begin construction. The other 50% will be due prior to shipping the item to you. I ship all items based on their weight, as priority mail with a delivery confirmation and insurance adequate for the price of the garment. However, because I cannot weigh an item before construction, I will use a standard charge of $8 to accommodate the weight, and then add the extra charges for delivery confirmation, priority, and insurance.
I will try to ship your item out to you the day after you purchase it. I take great pride in my fast shipping. All of my shipping prices are based on the weight of the garment. (I don't use flat rate boxes because 9 times out of 10, you end up paying twice as much shipping than what is necessary.) I weigh each item upon finishing it, and use the usps shipping calculator to get my final shipping price. All shipments prices are based on a CA, zip code and include a delivery confirmation (with tracking number), and the appropriate insurance for any item over $50. I ship everything as priority mail to get it to you as quickly as possible.
I am very fond of recycling! I reuse boxes from my household to ship you your item so don't be surprised when it shows up in a cereal box wrapped in brown paper :) We have to take care of our mother earth!!!
