General care instructions

>> Avoid hitting any pieces against hard surfaces that may damage the metal finish, and could chip, crack, or break the minerals or glass.

>> Put on jewellery last to avoid contact with hair and body products, perfumes, or lotions.

>> Removing jewellery before clothing helps avoid damage and snagging.

>> Refrain from swimming, bathing, or sleeping while wearing the jewellery if possible.

>> Avoid jewellery contact with chemicals - household cleaners, detergents, and harsh soaps may damage the metal finish and minerals.

>> Remove jewellery when washing hands, and make sure skin is dry before wearing again. If not possible to remove, make sure jewellery is completely dry after washing.

Metal care instructions

>> To help reduce and prevent natural tarnishing, store in an airtight container when not being worn (zip sealed bags work perfectly and are included with your purchase).

>> Sterling silver (.925) is naturally a softer metal - be extra careful when handling delicate pieces as it could bend or break with enough force, especially earring posts and necklace/bracelet clasps.

>> Tarnish over time on these pieces can be easily cleaned with a silver polishing cloth. There is usually residue left behind from these cloths, so make sure to rinse with warm water and dry completely afterwards.

>> To remove dirt, use a mild dish soap with a soft cotton cloth, and use a soft bristled toothbrush to reach tight spaces and crevasses.

Mineral + glass care instructions

Minerals:
>> Keep amethyst and citrine pieces out of direct sunlight, as it will cause the colour of the stone to fade.

>> Be careful not to use harsh cleaning agents on pieces with raw minerals as they are porous - most can be cleaned with a soft, damp cloth and then dried thoroughly.

Beachglass:
>> The frostiness of the glass is a desired trait that identifies the glass as naturally tumbled by lakes and oceans - over time with wear, the moisture from the air and natural body oils can be absorbed onto the glass making it more transparent.

>> To bring back the frostiness, the glass can be cleaned using warm water and gentle dish soap, and dried thoroughly.

Oxidized Jewellery Care

Each piece will wear and age differently depending on how frequently the piece is worn and how carefully it is handled, making it truly unique to its wearer.

This finish is very delicate in nature but can be prolonged by wearing oxidized pieces with extra care. Removing them when washing your hands or dishes, and working with your hands is beneficial. Even stacking other rings or wearing rings on the other fingers beside an oxidized piece of jewellery can cause the oxidation to come off inevitably.

If this black oxidized finish is preferred, it can be refinished to completely coat a piece of jewellery again. Please contact me to chat about the refinishing service. Price will vary and shipping costs will be extra.

Refunds, exchanges, and repairs

Jewellery that is handcrafted by Three and Four must be carefully handled. Three and Four will not be responsible for any damages that are caused by natural wear, misuse and/or negligence.

If your order arrives damaged, please photograph the piece and email me to obtain a return authorization within 7 working days from the date you received the item.

All repairs will be handled case-by-case. If you are unsatisfied with your purchase, please contact me to discuss options for exchange or return.

ALL EARRINGS ARE FINAL SALE (due to health/hygiene reasons)

Repair and exchange shipping costs will be the responsibility of the buyer.
