Adding another bag with "cattitude" to my shop and it has a surprise inside. The pockets are made from an adorable print of mice laughing - probably at the cats on the outside.
Lots of dots! Quilted shoulder purse with zipper closure.

About

The fabric of my life.

Like a lot of baby boomers, I learned to sew and craft at an early age. My grandmothers quilted, an aunt made beautiful sequined ornaments, many of which still decorate my tree some 50 years later, and my mother made exquisite clothing.

This apple didn't fall far from the family tree!!

From the time I was 6 or 7, I have always had some sort of sewing or craft project "in the works." I sewed doll clothes and I loved to make saddles and blankets for my model horses. Through the years, I've made everything from clothing to curtains, theatrical costumes and backdrops and finally got to make blankets for my real live horses! My current passion is creating quilted totebags, purses and other accessories as well as quilts, table runners and other home goods.

I’m a one-woman business, doing everything involved with my products: Selecting and cutting out the fabric, quilting, assembling, listing on Etsy, packaging and mailing. I spend a good part of each day in my sewing room, which is filled with fabrics in a kaleidoscope of colors, drawers of thread, zippers, buttons and Velcro, and my trusty Bernina sewing machine.

Thank you for stopping by to take a look at my shop and an even bigger thank you for supporting small business and handmade in the USA.
