Hello, and welcome to Three Little Birds Design! Hopefully you have stumbled upon my shop looking for the perfect design for your next celebration. Please take some time to look around, and feel free to reach out with any questions!
My name is Heather Hughes and I’m a graphic designer, among many other things. I have THREE adorable little boys and one handsome husband who are the loves of my life and my inspiration for everything I do. I’m a fierce mama, proud wife, organization freak, painter, animal rescue advocate, car singer, and lover of IPAs and a nice Octoberfest on a beautiful fall day. I love to create, so when I’m not chasing around my crazy 3 year old and 1 year old twins, you’ll usually find me consumed by work.
Art has always been a huge part of my life, and I can remember drawing cartoons for newspaper contests as early as six years old. The passion to create lead me to college where I majored in Graphic Design at Towson University, eventually obtaining my BA in Graphic Design and landing an amazing job as an Art Director at US Lacrosse in the suburbs of Baltimore, Maryland. Today, I still maintain my job with USL in addition to my ever-evolving Etsy shop!
I started my Etsy shop about a month before my first son way born in May 2015. As you can tell from the wide array of templates that revolve around him, Jackson was the source of my inspiration for getting into the invitation game. Thanks to a ton of friends who knew my talents and wanted custom invites for their baby girls and boys, I had a great range of already-made templates to start my shop!
Originally named “Heather Hughes Design”, I recently rebranded my shop to “Three Little Birds Design” - named (of course) after my three little birds, each of whom has had to listen to me serenade them with Bob Marley’s song since they were itty-bitty.

Payment
Please contact me prior to purchase for any customizations (size, layout, color, font, graphical or add-ons) beyond text that would require additional charges.
All designs are 100% personalized. Custom Orders will result in a design fee as well as original listing fee.
Shipping
All files will be sent within 1-3 business days. All revisions will be sent within an additional business day of the request.
I happily accommodate rush orders. If you need your order to be sent sooner than 3 business days, please purchase the "Rush My Order" listing and your order will arrive within 24 hours of receiving payment and required information.
Custom order turnaround may take a little longer than ready-made files.

Frequently asked questions
Do I send you the information or do I put it into the file myself?
You send me the information for your purchase, and I will send you the completed file. You will NOT receive an editable file.
What is the turnaround time?
All digital files will be sent within 1-3 business days (with the exception of rush orders). All revisions will be sent within an additional 1 business day.
I happily accommodate rush orders. If you need your order to be sent sooner than 3 business days, please purchase the "Rush My Order" listing ($5) from the drop down or in the "add on" section of my shop and your order will arrive within 24 hours of receiving payment and required information.

Can you change the color or font on an invitation?
Most color and font changes can be accommodated for a custom fee. Please contact me before purchasing so I can give you a quote if necessary.
Can I have a proof prior to purchasing?
Unfortunately, we do not offer proofs prior to purchase, but we do allow proof changes once the file is emailed to you in case something needs to be corrected or updated.
How do I attach my picture?
Photos can be sent via Etsy conversation (by clicking 'Attach Image'), or you may email them to threelittlebirdsdsgn@gmail.com
Your photo should be 300 dpi or higher for proper print quality. Please do not crop or edit photos prior to sending them as that can alter the quality of the overall picture.
By purchasing, downloading and printing any photo invitations, you are agreeing that you own or have exclusive right to use the photograph e-mailed to me. You are also agreeing to take full responsibility for any misuse or copyright infringements.
