Handpainted wool and yarns and homemade Goat's Milk Soap!

Situated on a hill overlooking the Haw River, Three Waters Farm looks out over a mixed terrain of fields, woods, and water in the piedmont of North Carolina. We moved here in 1989 with the intent to raise our family on a working homestead. Initially we sold a mix of organic vegetables, cut flowers, goat cheese, and baked goods at the Carrboro Farmers' Market.

Since 1997, we have focused on making products from our sheep's wool and goat's milk. We produce a variety of hand-painted yarns, hand spinning fibers, and our handmade Goat's Milk True-soap. We are now in our 27th year at the Carrboro Farmers' Market.

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:

  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
Returns and exchange details
If you have a problem with your purchase, please contact us immediately and we will make it right.

Returns must be made within 14 days of the purchase date. Once the product is returned in resalable condition, the purchase price will be refunded. The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs and insurance.

Custom orders are not refundable.

Purchased items usually ship in 1 to 3 business days. Custom orders may take longer.

Dye Lots

We make every effort to ensure that the dyelot that you view is the dyelot that you purchase. We do sometimes have inventory discrepancies and we reserve the right to send you a braid from a different, similar dyelot.

Custom Orders

We have an 8 ounce minimum for custom orders of pre-existing Three Waters Farm colorways. Send us a convo with the colorway name, the fiber type, and the quantity you want to begin discussion.

Custom orders usually ship in 15 days or less.

Custom orders are not refundable.
