Making dogs look classy, sassy, and a bit smart assy.
My 3 best friends (I'm talking about my dogs. They are LEGIT my best friends.) are the entire reason I have this shop. They make me laugh on the daily and I turn that into funny tags. I get inspiration from them, and everything around me! I truly believe that we only have these little pals for a short time in this life, and we shouldn't take everything TOO seriously.
In 2015 I quit my retail job to stay home with my dogs and just create. That led to the original thRUFFty Pup shop which actually started out as me sewing bowties for dogs. I would take thrifted men's neckties and turn them into bowties for dog collars. It was a TON of fun.
Then a little later in 2015, I added hand stamped tags that TOOK OFF. They sold incredibly well and they kinda left the bowties in the dust. I had less time to sew the bow ties and it just seemed like wasted time to make them anymore--- so for only for a few months was I a bow tie shop. Which is unfortunate since my logo, until recently, was centered around being a bowtie shop. And my name, thRUFFty Pup, was a take on the thrifted bowties I was making (thRUFFty Pup = thrifty pup!) (insert facepalm emoji here)
As a creative AND a gemini, my product is always changing because I get bored doing the same thing over and over. So recently I learned how to do engraving. Hand stamping is hard on the body so this was born of necessity and a need to be challenged. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

Can I put contact info on the back of the tag?
Yes if it’s a metal tag. No extra charge. Include your info in a note to thRUFFty Pup at checkout. You can find what will fit on the back of the tag by reading the information in the listing.
Acrylic tags cannot have info on the back of the tag.
HELP! There is a mistake!
If there is a mistake with your order and it turns out it is MY fault, I will absolutely without a doubt replace your tag for you. Mistakes happen- I'm only *nearly* perfect.
When can I expect my order?
You will DEFINITELY receive your order within the timeframe given- however, nearly 90% of the time it ships same day or next day. I fill orders every day (except weekends because, well, weekends.) Depending on what time an order is placed Friday, it will ship out Monday. I try to stick with this schedule, however here is a list of things that can happen that can disrupt that schedule:
- A surge and backup of orders. Retail is so unpredictable! (especially around any holiday!)
- A delay in the arrival of my shop supplies.
- Check your email! I'm trying to get in touch with you!
- LIFE.
