I love handcrafted items & have been an Etsy seller since 2008. This was originally my second Etsy store where I sold jewelry making supplies. I'm also a metalsmith and lamp work glass bead artist, but shut down my Etsy shop when we relocated to Florida a few years ago. My studio was always in the basement, and the lack of basements in Florida was a price I was willing to pay to follow our life long dream of living in the sunshine state.

I have three fab boys that make me proud to be a mom. My two older sons are away at college, and my youngest is in high school. I miss when they were young and viewed hubby and myself as rock stars who could do no wrong. After badgering my darling hubby for two years, I finally got the French Bulldog I had been yearning for. Welcome Miss Banks. Yes, there is a story behind her name, but it's kind of long, corny, and sentimental. My heart always melts when I hear the young neighborhood kids say in their cute squeaky voice "Hi Miss Banks." AND the best part is that there is never a moment that Miss Banks doesn't see me as rock star I strive to be.

I didn't realize how much I missed having a creative outlet until Covid-19 hit, and I dug out my sewing machine to make cotton masks for the family. Next thing I knew, I had ditched making masks and was off to making dog bandanas. Miss Banks looked so adorable in them that I couldn't resist making sure she was the best dressed pup on the block.
