Keeping It Affordable

Like most people, I live on a budget. I've always loved the look, feel, and construction of clothing from another era, but the quest for pieces that I can afford to wear can be disheartening!

While out hunting for myself, I would frequently find vintage clothing that fit my budget but didn't fit me. I'd forever be trying to contact friends while holding some beautiful piece in my hands, hoping they'd be able to take my call and tell me if it was something they wanted for their own closets.

I already had an Etsy shop where I had been selling my own jewelry designs since 2006, and in 2009 or so, the lightbulb finally came on. Here was the perfect outlet for all of those chance finds that didn't fit me, but were crying out for new homes where they'd see the light of day! The goal here at Tiddleywink Vintage is that I'll find something to fit you, your budget, and your style. Please take a look around!

Vintage clothing is my passion. I am a conscientious seller, because I am also an avid buyer. Quality, design, and condition is always taken into consideration. You can rest assured that any piece you purchase from Tiddleywink Vintage will be in ready-to-wear condition unless otherwise noted. All clothing is pre-loved unless noted as Deadstock/Pristine.

Check back often, new listings are updated as frequently as possible. Most items are one-of-a-kind, so if you're in love with an item, be sure to make it yours before someone else makes it theirs!

Returns and exchanges
Remember, these items are at least 20 years old, and previously owned. I avoid listing items in Fair/Poor condition, and disclose every flaw I find.

Tiddleywink Vintage will only accept returns that meet the Return Conditions and Procedures as described below.

Items that ARE NOT returnable under any circumstance:
* lingerie (intimate items, girdles, stockings, slips, etc.)
* swimsuits
* wedding gowns
* ephemera (paper goods such as books and magazines)
* pierced jewelry
* items with condition grade of "poor"
* custom or special order items

Return Conditions:
* All returned items must be received in the original purchase condition.
* Returned items must not have been worn, used, damaged, altered or cleaned.
* All labels, tags, or packaging on items must not be missing, broken or removed.

Return Procedures:
* A Return Authorization (via Convo or email) must be obtained BEFORE returning any items. No refunds or credits will be given on items returned without first obtaining a Return Authorization.
* Your request for a Return Authorization must be received within five (5) days of item delivery. (No exceptions)
* Return packages must be postmarked no later than seven (7) business days from date of delivery.
* Returned items must be packaged securely in the same or comparable box as shipped.
* Return package must include a tracking number and be insured for full purchase price. This is required for YOUR security.
* Claims for returned packages lost or damaged in transit must be made by the shipper.

Refund Information:
Upon receiving your authorized return, items will be carefully inspected and if conditions for return have been met, a credit to your payment account will be issued.

The following stipulations apply to refunds and credits:
* A 10% restocking fee will apply for all returned items.
(Purchase Price of item, less 10%)
* Credit will ONLY be issued to the account on file for the original purchase.
* Shipping, handling and insurance charges are non-refundable. Customer is responsible for all return shipping and insurance costs. Returns sent COD will be refused.
Colorado residents will automatically be charged 8.70% sales tax upon checkout.

Only one coupon code per order. Coupons cannot be used to purchase gift certificates. Coupons not valid on shipping charges.
Listed fees are estimates calculated with USPS Priority Mail flat rate packaging. True costs will be determined when your parcel is ready to ship. Any estimated fees in excess of $2 over actual shipping costs will be refunded at that time.

I make every effort to ship within 2 business days of payment. If you need something for a specific event, contact me BEFORE placing your order to confirm that I can meet the delivery date you require. Expedited charges will be determined by location and are the responsibility of the customer.

INTERNATIONAL: Please be aware that your country may assess Value Added Tax or Import Tax on your item. These charges are your responsibility, and I have NO control over them. I cannot and do not falsify customs forms. International shipping fees are estimated with Priority mail, which includes a tracking number and an estimated delivery time of 6-10 days.
Additional policies and FAQs
RESERVED LISTINGS: Reserve requests will be granted at our discretion, for a period of *up to* one week. No deposit is required. Reserves not claimed within this time will be released to the public. Users who fail to complete their purchases on items they have Reserved will not be permitted to make reservations in the future.

Longer reserves (LAYAWAY) requires a 50% deposit (which includes a 10% NON-REFUNDABLE layaway fee) paid at the time the listing is Reserved in your name, and the remaining 50% plus associated shipping costs within 30 days. Listings that have not been completely paid for within 30 days will be released from Reserved status. At such time we will refund all money you have paid, less a cancellation charge of 10% of the full purchase price.
