About TidelineTreasure

Sales 175
On Etsy since 2017

I grew up in Cornwall by the sea and have always been notorious for picking up sea glass, pottery, shells and other finds washed in by the waves. Raised on beaches, my favourite memories are of being younger and having the sense of freedom that being by the sea gives you.

My mum used to collect sea glass with my brother & I for arts and crafts projects at home and when I am beach combing now I always remember her telling us that the winner was the person who found the blue bits of glass (rare in Cornwall and the prize was sweets). When I got married in 2014, I made my husband spend our weekends trawling the beach for shells to decorate our reception tables.

Having had a stressful year at work in 2016 and a month away with time to reflect in January, turning my natural obsession with the sea into a small business to try and regain a work/life balance was a logical step. I especially love that by collecting bits of sea glass and pottery, I am also doing a mini beach clean at the same time and like that my jewellery is eco-friendly.

I always think that I could not love my new little business anymore than I already do until the next time I find an extra special piece of sea glass or pottery!
