Bathing- for when you'd rather clean something than cut it off.

The Tie-Dyed Hillbilly is a bit like me-simply complicated.
Since having my son in June of 2014, I've been a mostly stay at home mom. But even the most attached parents need a hobby, and I've found mine in natural care products.
I'm not full-fledged granola, but I consider myself pretty crunchy.
I'm still breastfeeding my toddler. We don't believe in genital cutting/ circumcision/ genital mutilation (YouTube: The Elephant in the Hospital). We rear face. We use cloth, though thankfully those days are almost over. We support educated vaccine choices. We will unschool (or we already do, I suppose).
On the other side of the fence, I survive off of caffeine and I've been known to feed my kid hot pockets. I won't buy essential oils from companies that tout their all-healing benefits. In fact, I use them sparingly. Though I don't place all of my faith in doctors and pharmaceutical companies, I'm grateful to be able to take medication that makes me a better mom, wife& business owner.
Let's talk about my logo for a minute. Elephants are super important to me. They were always my dad's favorite animal; They were everywhere growing up. My father wasn't much of a superstitious man, but all the elephants had to have their trunks pointing up and they faced the door for good luck. When my dad was diagnosed with Alzheimer's, I found comfort in the disease's icon- the purple elephant. Life has come full circle for my dad- he can't speak, but when I hold his hand and look into his eyes, I know that there are some things you never forget. I'll never forget the love & strength he's shown me all these years.
Sadly, this needs to be updated- on the morning of April 1st, I held my dad's hand and gave him one last kiss, before he passed away.

I'm Catholic, but respect everyone who follows their moral compass, without encroaching on the liberty of others. I'm libertarian- I'd like for a third party to take over the government and leave everyone alone. Does any of that matter? Likely not. But I feel it's important to know who you're doing business with. While I obviously don't have the same religious or political views as the majority, I think transparency and respect are important. This is me, and I promise to respect you for the person you are.
All of this probably makes me an optimist- I sincerely believe in the good of mankind. I think its our duty to lift each other up and support each other to make sound, healthy choices.
That's my goal in this business- to make the world a little bit of a better place. I try to accomplish that by providing safe, affordable products and encouraging dialogue on what really matters- a better world for our children to grow up in.

Frequently asked questions
Custom and personalized orders

I'll gladly accept custom orders for bath products, as well as decals, signs, shirts and more! I'd love to work with you to fulfill your gift or business needs. Please message me for pricing and details.
My turnaround time for custom orders is two weeks, not including shipping. If you need your item sooner, we can accommodate you with a rush order fee and expedited shipping. This allows us to put your order at the head of our production queue.

Care instructions

Soap- Please keep your soap dry between uses. This is best accomplished by purchasing a "soap deck". Of course, if you enjoy using a bar of soap quickly so that you can move on to the next one, I'm happy to accommodate
Shirts and apparel- Machine wash cold. Outside in. Mild detergent (check out my laundry butter). Don't dry clean (who dry cleans t-shirts anyway?). Don't use fabric softener (that stuff isn't good for you anyway). Care card included with purchase.

Do you believe in unicorns?

You do a lot of talking about circumcision. Where can I find out more info?

Glad you asked! I'd recommend you start by watching "The Elephant in the Hospital" on YouTube. Then, head on over to www.YourWholeBaby.org for more info. If you're Christian, find the god news at www.littleimages.org
