This is wonderful! LOVE the design and colors. The extra flap is terrific. My husband loves mine so much I had to come back and get some for him. Great merchant, super fast shipping.

About

Sharing the love of tie dye all around the planet

My tie dye adventure started about 8 years ago when I was invited to organize a craft workshop at our daughter's school in New Jersey. I searched my local library for books and online but found there were very few instructions available on how to create the designs I'd seen. With a friend's encouragement and because I had so much fun learning the process, I ventured into selling at local craft fairs and markets. I remember my first sale and the pleasure it brought me to sell something that I had created myself, which was totally unique and most importantly made my customers happy!

Later I ventured online which is where I sell most of creations now at The Studio Isobel and also love to take part in the occasional craft event in the San Francisco East Bay area.

I love the constant challenge of producing new designs and developing new techniques. Sometimes the best designs are as a results of a mess up in the dyeing process. There are always surprises with tie dye and I'm always learning and open to new ideas. Often the best ones come from Etsy buyers like you who share their ideas of what makes an ideal product for them. Inspired by what I see around me, I love to use the colors combinations that nature provides.

I aim to provide an excellent experience both with my high quality unique products and also with customer service.

Please keep in mind that different computers and devices display colors differently, the color of the actual item may vary slightly from the images in my listings.
Also, as my work is a hand-dyed , there will be differences between each item.

3, Duvet, Comforter, Quilt or Coverlet?

A duvet is occasionally called a comforter, and a comforter a duvet! To make things even more confusing bedding options can also include a quilt or a coverlet.

Duvet
Duvets originated in Europe and were made from the down feathers of the eider duck, known for its usefulness as a thermal insulator. These days duvets are typically filled with a natural of synthetic fibers and are of varying thicknesses to determine the level of warmth required. They range from lightweight and versatile to extremely warm for the coldest nights. The duvet is usually white or a neutral color. A duvet cover protects the duvet, in the same way a pillowcase covers and protects a pillow insert. A duvet cover is easy to change so you can change the look of your bed as often as you want. It also protects the duvet and should be easy to wash. Duvets and duvet covers are designed to be used alone (with no sheets) because the insert can be removed and the outer "bag" can be laundered.

Comforter
A comforter is similar to a duvet except that it doesn't have a separate cover. The fabric of the comforter has a printed or woven pattern that creates the design of the bed. Like a duvet, it's filled and quilted but usually comes as part of a set with coordinating shams.

Quilt
Traditionally composed of three layers of fiber, quilts consist of a woven cloth top, a layer of batting and a woven back, all stitched together is a decorative pattern. They have many classic patterns and traditions which can mark important life events such as graduations or marriage.

Coverlet
A coverlet is a lightweight, non-reversible bedspread that is usually either quilted or woven. Classically designed as a decorative layer to go over thicker bedspreads, coverlets often have a thin layer of batting, making them appropriate for use as a stand-alone bed covering, depending on the weight. They can also be used as throws on a bed or sofa.

4, Common Mattress Sizes
