Little Buddy is real and he is in my house. Pattern is easy to follow, I made him in one cumulative 24 hour period. I gave mine the bun hairstyle which was easy to crochet and I think if you go the foam style like the hair that comes with the pattern it'd be easy to make all his other hairstyles too.

I have been looking for a pattern for a Lil' Buddy plushie/puppet for a while and this one is the best I've seen. This was my first time making something like this and the pattern was pretty easy for my beginner brain to understand (I got a little stuck on the mouth but I got it eventually). I had lots of fun with this and if I see any more patterns here I am definitely going to buy them. :)

Great pattern!! I made a plush rather than a puppet so I did some tweaking as I went along to stuff the little buddy rather than use a foam structure, but this gave me the perfect foundation to start from, and he turned out great. I made him for my wife for Christmas and she absolutely loves him

Amazing pattern, super easy and simple to make! I had so much fun making my little buddy! The only thing I’d have to say is that the tutorial was a bit vague and hard to follow, I had to use my own skill and experience with sewing and prop making to fill in the gaps so I wouldn’t recommend for a first timer! Other than that I can’t argue with the results, it looks amazing.

This pattern was a godsend!!! I really wanted a lot Smallfry/ Lil’ Buddy prop for my New Squidbeak Splatoon cosplay group and this tutorial and pattern was perfect!! Instructions were pretty straight forward and I’m so happy with my Lil Buddy. I can’t wait to flaunt him around and tell people where I got the pattern from!! Thank you!!

Pattern was great. Instructions were ok. Wish they had been a little bit more detailed. Figured it out with some trial and error. There was a lot of detailing in the original but not in directions (lips around the mouth, change fabric color for inside mouth, trimming inside of foam pieces at angle so they fit together better and the mouth was tricky.) but overall happy with how it turned out.

In the process of making this right now and despite being a complete beginner the instructions are super clear!! I can't wait to give little buddy to my mom for Christmas :D
