Announcement    📣 October Announcements: 📣 Happy Fall! Wild California olives are turning shiny and black on the trees. Many Eucalyptus species are coming into flower. And people are already filling up on their fall foliage needs! December 3-10 is already closed for new shipments, but there's still time to place orders to go out other weeks. Christmas foliage listings will be coming soon, and my "great gift and self care" section offers wonderful options if you're ready to start shopping!
If you're not quite sure what to get, please reach out! I answer all Etsy inquiries within 1 business day (usually sooner). 📲

Welcome to Tierramor. 💚 I offer unique, ethically gathered, and educationally presented plant products. Many come with informative handouts and make great gifts. *Please read the product descriptions before ordering*, several of which explain how the product will travel and arrive during shipping. Please check your Etsy messages after ordering, in case I have any questions. Customer service is a priority, so if you have any special requests, OR, if you are in any way less than happy with your purchase, please reach out! Unfortunately, I am not able to accept returns, but we may be able to figure out some way to make it right. 🌿

🌳. I make custom orders, can often create bulk orders to your specifications, and can ethically and sustainably harvest a wide variety of foliage and herbs, including yarrow (Achillea millefolium), mugwort (Artemisia douglasiana), lemon balm (Melissa officinalis), California poppy (Eschscholzia californica), common mullein ( Verbascum thapsus), common fennel (Foeniculum vulgare), several species of Eucalyptus, and more.

While I endeavor to select the most beautiful product possible, with natural items, there will always be some variability, and nothing will look exactly like the photos. Please note that I generally have a queue of orders. If you have a rush order or hope to get your product sooner than the estimated shipping time on the listing, please purchase the "Rush Order" listing, which jumps you to the front of the line, and message me about which shipping option is best. 💨

I love connecting with folks about plants and nature. Please feel free to follow me on Instagram and Facebook @tierramorhikes, or visit my website at https://tierramor.wixsite.com/nature

👊In acknowledgement of the systemic nature of privilege and oppression, I offer 15% off all orders to folks who are disabled, trans*, or BIPOC (Black or Indigenous people of color). Please message me if you would like more details. This is part of the work of Tikkun Olam, a concept which you can read more about here: https://www.learningtogive.org/resources/tikkun-olam.

🌁If you live in the San Jose, California area, I offer porch pickup. In addition, I often have live California native plants for sale. If you are Indigenous and live in this area, I would be honored to share some of the plant medicine I grow (yarrow, mugwort, elderberry, elderflower, others) during its season - please message me and let’s connect.

🙏🏽 Thanks for stopping by, and stay healthy! 💚🌎

I love connecting people with plants!

My name is Miriam, and I work in environmental protection and restoration in California. My goal in life is to teach people how to be intimate with nature, and celebrate connections between diverse cultures and biological diversity. My shop name, Tierramor, means “Earth Love” in Spanish, my mother’s native language. My products are sustainably gathered using best environmental practices, and a stewardship ethic.

Frequently asked questions
Care instructions

Treat fresh foliage much the same way as you would fresh flowers. Submerge olive foliage in water for an hour or two to refresh it upon arrival. For all species, clip the bottom inch or two off the stem, and place in water. Keep away from heat and light. Change the water frequently.

Order timing

If you are ordering fresh foliage for a wedding or other event, you can place your order now, even if the event is several months in the future. In the "notes to seller", just let me know when you want to receive it by (generally 2-3 days before the event), and I will adjust your shipping date accordingly.
I take about five days to process orders, and the postal service takes about 3 days to ship them to you. So for best results, order *at least* two weeks before your event. If you need it sooner, I do offer a "rush processing" upgrade for next-day ship out, message me for details.
If you do not provide any event date information, your order will be shipped out approximately a week after you place it.

Custom and personalized orders

Most fresh foliage will stay good for at least a week to ten days after cutting, with proper care. Often it looks good for much longer. Care instructions are provided with the orders, and are in this FAQ section. I cut your order the same day or day before I ship, and ship in moisture conserving waxed florist paper.

Shipping Carrier and Shipping Speeds

As described above under Order Timing and listed on each product page, I take 3-5 business days to harvest and process orders. If you need to shorten this time, please purchase the "Rush Order" add on.
My default shipping carrier is the United States Postal Service (USPS). Most of my products automatically ship Priority Mail, estimated 1-4 business days from my post office to yours. Some dried and lighter products ship First Class, estimated 2-6 business days. These are not guarantees.

I am happy to ship FedEx or UPS, if you prefer, and at the speed you prefer, as long as you reimburse me the overage. I also charge a small convenience fee for this, as it's more work than shipping USPS.

If you have any questions, please let me know!
