Note from shop owner Hi all! I will be taking a short break from my string art because I will be off on my honeymoon!! If you are interested in placing an order, it will have to wait until June 25, 2018. Feel free to message me any ideas! Just know I will not start working on it until after the trip.

If you're in Columbia, SC, make sure to stop by Re-Invintage at 912 Harden Street for any pieces.

About

Creating art, close to my heart.

Hi! Thanks for checking out my art! I’m Settareh Marandi. I spent my childhood in Seneca, South Carolina. My family and I moved to Georgia when I was a teenager. I studied Early Childhood Education at the University of Georgia, and I now teach kindergarten at a school in Atlanta.

I love coffee, puppies, and anything that can keep my hands moving and creativity flowing. I have loved art for as long as I can remember! It’s an interest both of my parents share, and that has truly influenced me. I enjoy creating all types of art— from painting, to knitting, to jewelry making, and anything DIY. I am so excited to be able to share my string art with you!

This string art started as a gift for my sister who lives out of the state. She loves maps as artwork, so I wanted some way to show her how much I love her through maps. I made her a plaque of the state of Georgia with a heart where Atlanta is, to send my love to her. Awww. After I made this for her, I thought so many people would enjoy this to show their loved ones how much they care. I hope you are able to spread some happiness with my art.
