About

Tiffany Kunz Jewelry

Fascinated by the deconstruction of shapes, repetition and textures, Tiffany Kunz creates thoughtful, eco-conscious pieces of jewelry. From an early age, Tiffany was intrigued by her Grandmother Ruth LaGrandeur’s creativity and expertise as a jewelry designer and lapidary. Years later, Tiffany studied at the Gemological Institute of America, where she earned her Graduate Gemologist Title and was introduced to the craft of metalsmithing. After designing for emerging labels, Tiffany launched her independent line in 2007. Since then, she has produced 15 collections for Tiffany Kunz Jewelry, as well as created custom pieces for clothing lines, boutiques, television shows and movies.

Tiffany Kunz Collections are cast from locally sourced, reclaimed metals and finished by hand in Tiffany’s studio in Los Angeles, CA. All bronze designs are dipped in an organic coating to help protect from tarnish and sensitivity. Please visit our FAQ page for more information on our Bronze Jewelry. Tiffany Kunz strives to create art in an ethical and environmentally responsible manner using certified fair trade stones and reclaimed metals. All supplies, from pricing tags, look books and business cards to shipping parcels and jewelry pouches, are made from renewable resources or recycled materials. Tiffany also strives to work with the most natural elements available in the jewelry-making process and takes care to ensure the everyday use of eco-conscious practices in her studio space.

In addition to her signature line, Tiffany works with Raven and Lily, a social business dedicated to empowering impoverished women worldwide through design partnerships and micro-enterprise opportunities. Tiffany helps develop new jewelry designs that are then hand made by women in Ethiopia. The main components for the jewelry are beads that have been cast from old bullet shells from former war conflicts in the country. Through the Raven and Lily partnership, the women of Entoto Mountain are able to earn a living, receive HIV care and are given educational opportunities for their families.
