Welcome to Tigercards,

though object photography for my other etsy shop (buechertiger.etsy.com), I suddenly discovered my love for photography. I love a shallow depth of field and experiments with different lenses. I believe in photos that come straight out of the camera without elaborate post processing and in natural lighting. Results of my efforts can be found in the section photopostcards.

While I had to lie flat in bed for several weeks in hospital I found that one thing that I could still do was painting postcards. Since then I have refined my methods. And I actually am afraid of fish. Check out my section of original painted cards to see the outcome of this project.

Returns and exchanges
I aim to only ship and sell work that is of best quality. Should something miss my attention you do have the right to complain about the goods you received and give them back or ask for a fix.

If you are dissatisfied with your goods please contact me so that we can discuss a refund. Don't send your items back before contacting me. Generally I'll take back all goods as long as
a) you notify me within 14 days after reception
b) you ship according to my instructions
c) they reach me in the state I sent them to you. (That means for example that I won't take cards back that you cut, or wrote on.

I will refund all of your costs, including shipment if you have reason to be dissatisfied with the quality of the product.

EXTENDED REFUND POLICY:
If you want to give your items back for any other reason, simply because you have changed your mind, or for any reason other than a lack in quality: In that case you can still contact me, cancel your sale, and after doing so send the item back to me according to my instructions. If it reaches me in the state I sent them to you I'll refund the price of the product, but not shipment charges that I already paid.

In particular you can cancel your sale free of charge if you do so before it goes into the mail.

Custom made items are excluded from this extended refund policy. (I.e. you have of course still the right to give items back that lack in quality, but you may not give them back just because you don't want them anymore.)
Payment
(1) I accept payment through PayPal, and if you are customer of a German bank also via a bank transfer. If you prefer to collect your items personally I also accept cash.

(2) Items get sent after I received your payment. Items have to be paid within 14 days after ordering.

(3) Should your purchase have been by mistake or contain false information, incorrect shipment information in particular, please contact me immediately so that I can change the information or cancel the sale.
Shipment to false addresses have to be paid by the customer. For cancelling a sale see my refund policy.

(4) If your items get shipped to a destination outside the Schengen-area, customs may be due. They have to be paid at your country's tax office, and vary with the destination. I have no control over them, and they are your responsibility.
Shipping
If you paid your items with Paypal, I will send them to the address you provided there. Please notify me if you would like your items send to a different address immediately!
Cards get shipped with a piece of cardboard inside the envelope so that they don't bend.

(1) I send all items via Deutsche Post.
Unless stated otherwise in the description, items are send registered. I will inform you when your items get into the mail, and let you know the tracking data.

(2) If your items get shipped to a destination outside the Schengen-area, customs may be due. They have to be paid at your country's tax office, and vary with the destination. I have no control over them, and they are your responsibility.

Furthermore you have to make sure that you are allowed to import the items you purchase. I can not be held responsible for items held by customs.
If you have questions or doubts about that you can also contact me, and I will try to help you to figure out what you are allowed to import.

(3) I recycle as much packaging material as I can to reduce the amount of waste that harms the environment. Additionally I am a member of the German "Duales System" and pay an environment fee for all packaging material that reaches you, to help keep our planet healthy.
If you prefer all new packaging materials, please let me know via convo or during checkout.

(4) Delivery Times:

Please note: All delivery times are estimates. I cannot guarantee a certain delivery date, because Deutsche Post doesn't guarantee a certain delivery date. If you need something fast and on a specific day please contact me: I can send it to you through UPS or a similar service. - This will also be more expensive, though.

Destinations within Germany are usually reached in one day.

Destinations in Europe in about 6 days.

My experience is that mail to North America usually takes 10-14 days but can be longer, especially for the holidays.
Deutsche Post informs: Shipment to the following US cities take about 5 days plus the time they need to go through customs: New York, Miami, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco. From there the service continues with USPS and delivery times depend on where you are - you know probably best how long USPS usually needs to deliver mail from one of the said cities.
In Canada, the cities Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver are reached in about 5 days plus time in customs, and again the delivery times then depend on your destination.

In Australia Sydney is reached in about 6 or 7 days plus time in customs, destinations elsewhere often take 14 days and longer.

If you would like to receive a photo print on archival professional photo paper instead of a postcard please contact me. I cannot guarantee that I can fulfill your order (that is why they are not listed as such at the moment) but in some cases I can make it work for you.
