Announcement   *** WHAT'S NEW AT TIME2SPLIT? ***

You may have noticed a couple of changes over the past few months and even over the past couple of weeks. Since early March, I've had some help processing orders, from my niece's husband Jake, who's been helping me and learning some of the ins and outs of Etsy while he gets his own Etsy shop up and running.

More recently, you may have noticed that a significant number of products are missing from my shop. By June 23, my shop will no longer stock chipboard, paper bags, many types of tags, and some types of art papers and cardstock -- but you can find almost all of the same products you've purchased here in the past in Jake's shop: http://jakeandcara.etsy.com

I will still be making handmade envelopes, as well as some printed goods, but this shop is going to become largely what it was originally intended for -- a destash shop -- selling craft supplies I know I'll never get around to using and some cool retro/vintage goodies.

I still have two other shops here, and I hope to be able to devote more time to them (time2cre8 is where I sell beadwoven jewelry and patterns, and SniggleStudio is where I sell stationery).

About

I love paper and all things artsy and craftsy. :-)

Paper. Scissors. Glue. Beads. Thread . Cardstock . Chipboard . Pens

That's a list of the things that surround me every day. The things I love to play with. The things I turn into other things.

I've always loved to make things. Always. From way back when I was little, cutting out shapes from construction paper, pasting the shapes to other pieces of paper, and then presenting them to my Mom as if they were artworks worthy of being hung in the Louvre.

Speaking of the Louvre, I once made a scale model of the building using paper mache, for a school project. We had to take it to school in the back of my grandfather's 1953 Ford pickup truck. I got an A.

I love to draw, giant abstract drawings filled with teeny tiny circles, squares, and triangles. And cartoony characters, silly people with big noses (like Jerry the Jester, my avatar), surly cats, crazy birds, and whatever else gives me a chuckle. Every once in awhile I draw a portrait, and my favorite technique for those is pointillism.

So I started making ACEO blanks for other people who like to draw and paint but didn't so much like the process of cutting their own art cards. And then I started cutting up paper and cards into other shapes and sizes. At some point I "discovered" scrapbooking papers, and I designed some envelope templates (some of my envelopes were even featured in a Lark book, Pushing the Envelope). A few years later, I've made countless thousands of envelopes; and I'm a hoarder when it comes to scrapbooking papers.

And here I am.

I don't have much time to draw any more (when I'm not cutting up paper and cards, I'm playing with beads for my other shop, time2cre8). But I will again someday.

:-)

What can I say? I love paper. And I'm surrounded by it. Paper and beads. :-)

Frequently asked questions

Can I order a different quantity or size?

Most of the items in my shop can be ordered in multiple quantities, which you select from a dropdown menu. If you aren't able to order the exact quantity you need, please contact me to have a custom order created.

Do you offer custom printing?

I can customize most of the printed items I have listed, and I also print wedding invitations, tags, and other items that aren't listed in my shop. Prices will vary, depending on what you need.

If you need a logo printed on something, or you need special graphics created, please contact me before placing an order so I can discuss the details with you.

NOTE: Printing in white or light opaque colors is not an option. That type of printing requires a specialized printer (it cannot be done on a standard laser or inkjet printer) and specialized inks. You can Google "printing in white" and see more information.

Custom and personalized orders

Please contact me with any special requests (for example, items in a certain size or special quantity). In order to provide you with an accurate quote, I need to have the following information:
- What size are you looking for?
- What material?
- Any special treatment? (holes punched, rounded or square corners)
- How many?
- Where are you? (in order to quote shipping)
Note that custom orders must be purchased before I begin work on them.

Custom listings will be left active for a maximum of three days, so please be ready to purchase when you request a listing.

Quotes are valid for 14 days. After that, prices are subject to change.

Do you combine shipping costs or refund overpayments?

Most of my products are set up to calculate shipping cost automatically, based on weight and size of the package. In some instances, Etsy's calculated shipping functionality doesn't work as well as it should, and you may pay more than necessary. In those instances, I refund shipping overpayments, at the time I print your shipping label. Refunds are submitted against your original method of payment (i.e., PayPal or your credit card) and should show up within a few days after you receive notification.

Is expedited shipping available?

Yes! You can select to upgrade to Priority Mail or Express Mail shipping in your cart when you check out. Please note that selecting one of these shipping methods does NOT alter the processing time; it simply affects the method of shipping.

If you need your order shipped more quickly than the processing time indicates, please contact me before you place your order, and I'll see if I can accommodate your schedule. Note that same-day or next-day shipping may result in additional charges, as I may have to take the time to drive your package to the post office.

All orders are shipped as quickly as possible, processed in the order received.

Where's my package?

A shipping notification with tracking info is sent to the email address you have on file with Etsy when your package is shipped.

I ship to the Etsy address on your receipt. If you used an incorrect address, I'm not able to change it after the order has been placed. If this is the case, I'll ask that you reorder the same items and provide the correct mailing address so your package reaches you; the first order can be cancelled.

If your package is returned to me by the postal service (due to incorrect address, or because it wasn't retrieved from the post office), I will contact you. You may opt to pay the shipping cost to have it resent; or, if the item is not a custom order, I will refund the product cost less a restocking fee.
