I have to thank Ms Johnson for taking so much time to assure my happiness as a customer. When I wasn't satisfied with a first order, she sent me loads of information about how to salvage the first one and sent several additional cut feathers to me for free just to make sure it all worked out. Hi! Thank you for browsing my small nook of the internet. I love picking up neat and unusual objects as I go hunting. Ferretting around in the backwoods of Louisiana I'm always uncovering treasures.

I accept paypal, and I will take a cashier's check if you send me a conversation first. Any item not paid for within 5 days of final purchase will be re-listed.
Most items ship within 2 business days - I send etsy notifications as soon as an item ships. If you need something rushed, please contact me prior to purchase to make arrangements and I will do my very best to accomodate your needs. Please let me know if you have questions - I am here to help.

All items are shipped via USPS, either First Class or Priority. In order to save you money on shipping, charges are carefully calculated and I often use recycled shipping materials. If I overcharge significantly I will issue a refund, if I undercharge I always cover the difference.

Please request signature confirmation if it isn't safe for your carrier to leave your item at the door.

Damaged Items Policy: In the rare event that your package arrives damaged, please contact me immediately and KEEP the packaging. A photo of the damaged packaging and contents is required in order to file an insurance claim.

International Customers:
For items that are fragile or valuable USPS Priority Intnl shipping is most often quoted. First class is used for nonbreakable and lower value items, and for items shipping to Canada, with exceptions. First Class packages offer no tracking and run a higher risk of being held up in customs, damaged, or lost. I always offer and encourage the option to upgrade to more reliable Priority shipping (you must contact me before purchasing to change a shipping method).

Please note that delays in customs are becoming increasingly common. Packages may take an unusually long amount of time to get to international destinations, and unfortunately I cannot control this type of delay. International shipments can take anywhere from a few days to six weeks to arrive so please note this before making your purchase, especially if you have a deadline. Upgrading to Priority can help expedite your shipment but transit times are not guaranteed. Contact me with any questions about shipping times.

Please make sure that the items you are buying are legal to import into your country. Certain vintage items may be prohibited so please consider this before purchasing. A country specific list of prohibited items can be found here: http://pe.usps.com/text/imm/ab_toc.htm. Neither etsy nor timeline scout is responsible for import fees or return delivery costs due to prohibited items.

Also, you will be responsible for import taxes or other customs fees (if applicable) for your package. While I try to minimize the cost of importing, I cannot provide inaccurate information to customs officials. It is the buyer's responsibility to pay any and all customs duties or taxes assessed by your government. This may be required as a condition of delivery, and the fees vary by country.
Refunds and Exchanges
Refund policy: I try to list every item as best I can to educate my customers. I note the condition of vintage items as accurately as I can with the understanding that antiques and vintage items may be very fragile. Sometimes monitors do not accurately reflect the actual hues or colors of an item. If for any reason your item arrives in a condition that differs from the description, please contact me immediately, I will gladly issue a full refund minus shipping fees, but you must let me know . I want you to be happy with your purchase.
