My path to Etsy.
My mother taught me to crochet at the age of 11. Although I struggled at first, she was patient and didn't give up. It was a great bonding experience. My love of crochet is all due to her. She's been gone awhile now. I still have all of her equipment, hooks, needles, crochet patterns, even the scissors she used. Every time I crochet, I think of her fondly.
I have worked with dogs my whole adult life, 20 years in a no kill animal shelter and the last 9 years in dog daycare/boarding facility. I love dogs(I have 4), and my shop reflects this with many dog related items.
