tinasangoras' Shop Announcement

We hope to be your source of hand-turned wooden spinning and knitting tools! I started by raising champion Satin Angora show rabbits, using their fiber for spinning - that activity led me to build my own lightweight drop spindles, and then to preparing fibers for spinning. My husband and I both are retired military officers, and are now pat-time woodworkers on the family farm in NE Washington State, USA, making hand-turned spinning and fiber arts tools out of locally-sourced woods; I also make my small, stone-whorl drop spindles out of commercially-made stone beads and carved wooden shafts. I no longer have rabbits, due to family medical issues that require too much time away from home, but my fiber friends help keep me supplied with Angora fiber, if you need some!

You may have noticed a small change in our collection of spinning tools - after my father-in-law's death, I've taken over most of the woodworking, so the style of spindles, etc., now reflects my personal preferences, and also my personal wood-turning skills (or lack thereof!). My husband is recovering from kidney transplant surgery, so isn't working in the woodshop for at least a few months, as the anti-rejection medications require that he avoid dusty or dirty jobs - so, I'm the spindle maker for now!

We'd love to help you find the perfect spinning tool, and we always offer a 100% guarantee - we will fix your item if it ever breaks at our cost, we'll replace an item if you'd like, or we'll give you a 100% guarantee (full purchase price plus shipping costs)! Please note that our only negative feedback was given to us by a customer several days AFTER they were given a 100% refund after they felt our spindle did not spin to their satisfaction, so we realize that we can't satisfy everyone! And, if you aren't satisfied or can't find what you like, please look around Etsy, as there are so many lovely fiber arts suppliers here! God bless all of you in your fiber arts projects!
