My philosophy is simple- make a great handmade dress or set that is durable, comfortable, washable, and looks great! Beyond that I will say that a little one that is allowed to express her ‘inner princess’ is a really good thing. Time and time again I hear of shy girls, or sweet angels that have gone through difficult family times, or even little ones that just need to feel extra special for a birthday that are transformed with a new confidence while wearing a custom princess creation.

I recently received the following feedback that perfectly puts into words the joy of TinkerellaCreations- “I don't have the words to express how happy this gorgeous dress made my daughter. She literally stopped people in their tracks as they called her Belle and told her how beautiful she looked. Even my husband, who is not one to comment, remarked that he didn't know how much I paid, but that it was worth it”.
That just makes me smile!

Regarding prices- please understand that during busy times pricing must go up as I can usually only make 1-2 items per week while being a single mom of two young children! Preordering is your best opportunity to get a lower price as it allows me more flexibility for me to work on your custom items over several weeks around my family schedule. I can sometimes do a rush order fee for those special occasions that are coming up sooner than the 4-6 weeks. Feel free to ask me if you would like to add the fee in order to rush yoour custom item.

Should you need to cancel your order at any time BEFORE I begin work on it there will be a %5 cancellation fee to cover the listing fees and time to plan and purchase supplies for your order. This would be deducted from any money paid and the remainder refunded within 2 weeks. If you need to cancel your order AFTER I have started working on your items there will be a 10% cancellation fee deducted prior to a refund being issued within 2-3 weeks. This fee is based on the price of your items and doesn’t include the shipping cost. It is rare that I have cancelations but I understand that things come up for families due to vacation schedules or financial problems so I want to accommodate these but still cover the time it takes from my sewing schedule to set up custom orders in fairness to all! Thank you for your understanding. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask!
Generally, I prefer PayPal payments but will also accept a money order or cashier’s check. Please let me know if you would like to pay this way and I’ll know to watch for it in the mail. Terms/deadlines are stated in my shop announcements. If you need to cancel your order due to an unexpected change in plans please let me know within one week of purchase.
I ship to your PayPal shipping address unless we have discussed an alternate shipping location such as shipping to a grand daughter/niece etc or I have also shipped directly to the Disney resort with no problems so your vacation sets are there when you arrive for your magical trip!! I use USPS priority mail which includes the confirmation and tracking number. If you prefer another service please message me and I’ll check pricing and add to the listing if necessary. Shipping time for priority boxes has been 2-5 days depending on location as well as time of year.

As of May 1st 2011: INSURANCE is generally included in your cost of priority postage through the United States Post Office. This is for domestic only. I'll be adding a few dollars into the shipping charges now to help cover this cost. I have never had a lost pacakage but did recently have a lost box on a purchase through ebay and it scared me to think I would need to make an entire order over for free if something was lost! If you DO NOT want insurance I can remove the cost from your shipping but if something comes up lost I am not liable to replace or refund your purchase. I would rather be safe than sorry with the large purchases and time spent to custom make your order!

EXPRESS/OVERNIGHT shipping is available for an additional fee. It comes out to be a difference of approximately $15 dollars higher for domestic shipments. It's been determined that for some locations 'overnight' through the postal service is not ALWAYS overnight! Many rural areas can be two days even with the cost of Express. Drives me nuts but if you live in an area such as this let me know when you request Express so we can adjust for this shipping time if necessary.

I have never had a lost item but will still recommend you purchase insurance if you’re not confident in the United States Postal Service.

Please feel free to message me regarding custom items that you have been searching for but never found and we can see what is possible. Some of my favorite designs are collaborations between me and fantastic buyers with creativity and confidence in me to create something new! Custom requests are not always possible depending on my work load. While I love to collaborate and create something new and original it does take more time so during busy times of the year (halloween, christmas and spring/summer vacations) it's difficult to squeeze in many new items. Thank you for your understanding.

I am unable to do wholesale orders for buyers to resell at this time. There just isn’t enough time in the day for a single mom to mass produce!
