Many thanks to my hardworking, wood working husband and his efforts to supply me with beautiful, round teepee poles. As always, the poles are cut from kiln dried hardwood, then smoothly sanded and left unfinished for a timeless look.
I'm so glad you're here! All of my teepees, mats, chair caddies and accessories are handmade in my own small Wisconsin sewing studio. Nearly all the fabric, trim and thread I use is made in the US and everything you see in my Etsy shops and on my own website is completely handmade in my own small sewing studio in Menomonee Falls, WI. My sewing studio strives to be as low waste and eco-friendly as possible. My fabric scraps are donated to local schools and charitable institutions for use. Our packaging is effective (and minimal), using recyclable materials. No plastic bags, no rubber bands, no metal pieces.
Tip Top Teepees are free from harmful toxins and dyes, and contain no flame retardants. They are cut and sewn in my small sewing studio with exceptional attention to quality, safety, and design, using 100% cotton canvas or home decor fabric that is manufactured in the USA. The canvas teepees are made with 100% cotton canvas that is grown and milled in the USA. The home decor fabrics (stripes, polka dots, patterns, etc.) are purchased from an environmentally friendly US fabric manufacturer that uses a water based pigment printing system. Your teepee will ship fully assembled and the poles are ONE PIECE, very important for safe, uninterrupted play.
Your Tip Top Teepee will last a lifetime! You will pass your teepee down, you will NEVER throw it away.

There are no flame retardants or other chemical treatments on any of the teepees, mats, pillow covers or banners you see in my shop.

Can you customize a teepee or banner for me?
Absolutely! I am happy to change the center flag or use special colors on your banner. Just send me a conversation with your ideas! I also accept custom teepee orders for special sizes and colors.
Will my high chair/teepee banner look exactly like the photo?
I do my very best to keep the teepee banners exactly as shown in the photos. However, some fabrics may be out of stock. In that case, I will substitute the fabric with the same color, but any pattern within that color may vary slightly.
Will the burlap and fabric strips on my banner fray?
The great thing about our burlap is that it will not fray! Our special design trick makes the burlap flag two thick layers that resist fraying. The cotton fabric strips may fray slightly, but any frayed ends are easily snipped off with a scissors.
