A Passion For Drawing
I have always loved drawing and have spent many years honing my ability. I am a self-taught artist with a passion for creating realistic images. For many years I specialized as a portrait artist but with the introduction of the internet I have branched out to create all sorts of illustrations to sell via several online venues. I thoroughly enjoy the freedom of non-commissioned work ... spending long hours in my studio creating countless drawings and paintings. I live in the country and my subject matter often reflects my love for the rural lifestyle. I thank God every day for His gift of creativity entrusted to me. Besides spending my time creating art, I enjoy reading, visiting with my large family (I have five children and eighteen grandchildren), dinner with friends, or learning about topics such as psychology and history.

I work full time as an artist in my large home studio. My artwork reflects my love of the country, and of all things beautiful, shiny, or both! I absolutely LOVE to draw!! I also use paint and oil pastels, but by far, my favourite medium is pencil.
