Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:

Returns and exchange details
Each item is carefully inspected when it is acquired, and again when it is listed. I do my best to accurately describe any flaws detected. All of my items are vintage and often show some signs of their past life. Even so, on occasion I may overlook some defect. Please let me know this and I will work with you to assure your satisfaction. Refunds (minus shipping costs) will be allowed on a case by case basis. Return shipping will be the expense of the buyer, and there will be a 20% restocking fee for any return unless I have grossly misrepresented the item.

Any request for an exchange or return should be initiated by the buyer within 3 days of receiving the item, and return tracking information provided within 7 days of receipt. Once an item is received back in its original condition your refund will be issued. As a small business,

I make every effort to carefully package your item so that it arrives safely to its destination. I use tissue, bubble wrap, boxes and packing peanuts (all clean recycled when possible)

Shipping
We generally ship via USPS and provide tracking and insurance on all packages. SentimentalVintager reserves the right to refuse shipment to any address.

If you will require INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING, please contact us in advance of placing your order. We may not ship to all destinations. All duties, taxes, VAT, handling fees, surcharges are the responsibility of the buyer and are not included in the sale price or shipping costs of the item. Failure on your part to pay such fees and take delivery of your order is not a valid reason for return and will be subject to restocking fees and any additional cost incurred by the seller. If re-delivery is requested you will be billed for additional postage.

Please feel free to contact us with any questions you have. I will do my best to answer you promptly. I would much rather you ask 20 questions about an item and be happy as opposed to not asking and being disappointed. I describe things to the best of my ability, but am not an expert, and my eyes are not as good they used to be!

Care instructions

Vintage items are not new and may show signs of age and wear. Some may require delicate or specific care. I do my best to disclose any noticeable flaws or defects and am always glad to provide additional pictures or information. just ask!

Gift wrapping and packaging

Gift wrapping is available for a nominal fee at checkout.

Jewelry orders are shipped in new gift boxes at no extra charge.
If you would like them prettied up with paper and ribbon you will need to add that request to your order.

If you have any special requests, feel free to let us know and we will do our best to make it happen. We believe that vintage is special and understand when you want to make a special presentation.

Custom and personalized orders

While we do not offer traditional personalization like monogramming services, we would love to help you customize unique gift packages for special occasions. Maybe you are trying to find that special something you remember from your childhood, or a hard to find item to add to someone's collection...we would love to be your go-to for 'special'.
