5 out of 5 starsItem itself is beautifully and in wonderful condition! The gift wrapped boxed on the other hand, was destroyed. At least it kept the earrings safe!

About ToastedCoconutStudio
Love what you do!
About the artist:
Jantar Handcrafted Jewelry is a "one woman and a set of pliers" operation in Long Island, New York.
My adventure with jewelry started in my Dad's metal-smith studio in late 1980's with simple prep work and packaging, progressing to soldering and more complicated tasks by the time I was a teenager. I loved spending my time in his studio, my dad is one of the most interesting people I ever interacted with, who has extensive knowledge of everything that will spark his interest. I loved picking his brain and there was always music involved, he hoped to divert my music interests away from teenage sensations and boy bands. Mission accomplished Dad!
My dad worked exclusively with amber and silver, and this is where the name of my business comes from, "jantar" means amber in Old Polish.
It also means "dinner" in Portuguese, as I was told ;O)
My interest in jewelry making was renewed when my younger son was born in 2006. I was a workaholic who suddenly became a stay-at-home mom and really needed to stay busy. After some beading classes and then metal-smith course Jantar Handcrafted Jewelry was born and my adventure with jewelry making has began.

About my designs:
My designs are vintage and Victorian inspired and are created with antique brass and copper elements. I love incorporating vintage elements into my designs and hunting for them is always an adventure. I always keep and open mind and let the elements I use inspire me to create colorful and quite eclectic collection of jewelry, which can be found at JantarHandcrafted.etsy.com
I’m also quite addicted to vintage glass buttons, which I turn into rings, cufflinks, earrings, necklaces, bracelets and bookmarks. They can be found at ToastedCoconutStudio.etsy.com
