Note from shop owner I have had a wonderful time being part of the etsy handmade community. Thanks to my wonderful customers, we've been able to make ends meet, do fun things and I could continue staying home.
I am now returning to work, as a teacher, and I just don't see myself having the time to crochet up at least 100 slippers for the winter season.
You may see some of my handmade items trickle over to my vintage shop, www.etsy.com/shop/toastycrowstreasures but until then, goodbye and thank you!

About

Functional, comfortable crochet slippers, in your favorite colors.

I started my shop shortly after becoming a stay at home mom to the two sweetest babies. I started by making baby hats to fit my daughter, then found my true niche with slippers!

I love finding two different colors of yarn that work so well together. I love mixing and matching and making beautiful products from one long string of yarn!

Slippers are my passion, and you will find slippers that are in YOUR size, ready to ship here. I will be adding many more pairs before school starts in August, because, well, I'm returning to teaching in the fall.

I started crocheting around the time my son was born. I ended my teaching career to become a stay at home mom and needed to find something to help contribute to the family income. I found my niche making slippers, but add other items here too.

Hello!! I create each piece with loving care, as if it were being created for myself or family. I work with clean hands, in a smoke free, petless environment. If I don't like the way something is turning out, I start over.

I believe in communication as vital between seller and buyer. I will let you know that I received your order and that I am "on it." I will also let you know once the item(s) have shipped.

If you want something you don't see listed, just ask me. I love a challenge.

Accepted payment methods

Payment
I only receive payments through paypal. Orders will not be shipped until payment is received. I work through my orders according to who paid first.
Shipping
I use USPS for shipping. I use 1st class mail 3-5 day delivery. If you are interested in an upgrade please let me know and we can arrange an upgrade in your shipping price.
Refunds and Exchanges
This will be decided on a case by case basis. I want you happy with your order.
Additional policies and FAQs
I make almost every pair to order. These take a minimum of 3-5 days (because of volume of sales, and I am just one woman) I use photos of slippers I have sold already, and purchase yarn according to the description. Once in awhile, my suppliers are out of a specific color of yarn. I reserve the right to match the color as close as possible with a different yarn color. (This happens rarely) So to put it plainly, hypothetically, the sage green used in the picture might be sold out at the store, and I would have to use a different sage green that has a slightly different tint to it. I never do drastic substitutions!

WHOLESALE: Yes, I do wholesale. Minimun purchase of 10 pairs. Contact me for a 30% coupon code. Accepting wholesale orders from January through September.

Wear and tear is normal for any footwear, the more friction you put on your slippers (ie. scooting around in your slippers) even on carpet can result in the fabric wearing down more rapidly. (Keep that in mind and wear only indoors.) These slippers will not shrink in the wash, and due to being made with acrylic yarn, you do not need to wash these as frequently as you would with a natural fabric because it does not retain odor.
