Hi, I'm Rita, I'm Portuguese and I live by the sea. Since ever I'm passionate about gemstones, they have thousands of years, they hold secrets and they are beautiful.
Not just gemstones, river and beach stones too.
I love to make things. I've started to make jewelry for myself, creating pieces I couldn't find, but suddenly, one afternoon a name came to my mind: Toctá. It means sharing your own nature, to put your soul and heart in your creations, and share the things you love and cherish.
I love the simplicity yet magnificience of stones, I try to respect their lines and patterns, so they can easily become a classic everyday piece. As you can see, Toctá inspiration is Nature, textures and minimal lines, to me life is supposed to be simple and rich.
I create having in mind someone who loves nature, who honors her own inner life and follows the heart.
I believe the best ideas come from the heart.
