About

Where Worlds Collide and Imagination is Created

ToeFishy: The shop started after peer pressure finally won and I decided to have a place for my creative energy to go. It also helps that I am a full time/stay with my baby momma and needed to pay for the awesome BA in Theatre and Dance. Update: I am now a solo parent to 3 beautiful boys, this shop allows me a way to provide for our small family. Thank you for your support.

Sewing Chops: My mom taught me how to sew and I come from a long line of seamstresses (although they are probably not cool with my willy-nilly way of creating art). When I was 14, I started designing costumes for halloween and birthdays. When I was 19, I started working for Cheryl (where a lot of the Ren patterns come from) and honed my craft. She did SCA events and I got to be amazing at top stitching and sizing Doublets.

ToeFishy: Where Worlds Collide and Imagination is Created! The name has meaning. We've all been in a place where our worlds collide. For me, it reminds me of lazy summers swimming in the pond with my cousins, my two years at Chatham (being a dancer (toe) and swimmer (fishy)), and how I'm happiest being myself in all of the hats I'm called to wear.

Mother of three amazing little boys. Lover of nature, camping and playing dress up. Enjoys life (working on it), the color green and water. Really enjoys sewing and creating OOAK things for you to love.

  • Milo

    Boy Friday

Always ready to fill in when called upon. Loves playing with his brothers, Aunts, going to Mema's and Pepa's house and helping momma sew.

  • Arlo

    Tut Tut

My sweet second born. He's really funny and keeps me laughing. He also holds my hand. And when he's sleeping, or playing nicely with his brothers, I can sew!

  • Jozy

    Baby

Jozy is my joy! Babies are like cake without the calories (most days). He loves his older brothers and occasionally naps so momma can sew, or do dishes.

Welcome! Everything is handmade by me in an attempt to use up my creative energy. I'll let you know if it works. I normally don't use patterns, although I'm starting to see the usefulness to recreate my work.

Everything is made is a smoke-free environment. Although I don't own any pets, I do come in contact with furry friends at my parents house, where I spend a lot of my time and work on projects.

Payment
Please pay for your purchase within 24 hours of committing to buy.

If you see something you must have, but don't have the funds for it currently, message me and we can discuss a payment plan.
Shipping
I usually ship ready-made items within two days, via the United States Postal Service, standard shipping (5-10 business days), or First Class shipping (2-3 business days) depending on where you are in location to Western PA and pricing. If you need something faster then what is listed with the item, please message me first to make sure I can accommodate your situation.

International Shipping? Message me! Prices and shipping times vary greatly depending on where you are and how fast you need it. At this time, International Shipping cannot be tracked once it leaves the US, so the buyer assumes that risk.
Refunds and Exchanges
Problem? Message me.

If I have been contacted, normally we can work something out. I normally don't give refunds unless there are extreme issues/problems. But in most cases I would be happy to exchange or fix an item if it arrives with major issues, hasn't been worn or used in any way and is shipped back (at the buyers expense and with delivery conformation) within 10 days of purchase.

I really try to take good pictures and describe items to the best of my ability, so hopefully there won't be any issues.
Additional policies and FAQs
Every item is handmade and is therefore unique and special!

*I had a teacher once who said that theatre was live for a reason, and if someone wanted to see perfection, they should go to the movies. I feel that way about hand made items. If you want perfection, buy something from a machine. If you want something made with love, from a real person, buy handmade*
