I am in love with this yarn! The colors are gorgeous, and they do a magnificent job of capturing the essence of the Sun God! The yarn has a super soft and smooth feel to it; I'm having a hard time putting it down! I can't wait to start crocheting with it!

About

Geeky Fiber Fiend

It all started with an 8 year old girl and a crochet hook. That little girl spent all her time designing her own crochet pieces and dreamed of selling them one day.

Soon after learning to crochet, I learned to knit. I spent all my time playing with yarn, designing (admittedly not the greatest) pieces, and pretending to sell them on a table outside my bedroom door. I didn't get many customers, but it was the beginning of a dream.

Over the years, knitting took a back seat and I experimented with many loves, including illustration, watercolors and oil-painting. I even went to school and got degrees in psychology and architecture, but the call of fiber never stopped. In 2009, I gave into my love of fiber. I started my business and found my way back to that original childhood dream. When I learned how to dye my own yarn, I got to combine my love of playing with color, painting and fiber.

I love creating fun accessories and colorful yarn! I hope you love them too.

I believe that yarn is a manifestation of possibility! When I design knit pieces, I am investigating the process of creation and embracing the blank slate that is yarn. When I am dyeing yarn, I feel like I am creating little pieces of possibility to share with the world.

Additional policies and FAQs
Custom Dyeing:
We offer custom dyeing to retail clients for a 10% surcharge.

Why is custom dyeing more expensive than one of your regular colorways?
We have all our dye recipes figured out for our existing colorways. To make something custom for you, we need to start over, mix new recipes, and test them.

What if I want one of your existing colorways, but just want to change it slightly?
In this case, the above is still true - even something that sounds simple, like adjusting color ratios or making a color lighter or darker, requires us to mix new formulas.

Yarn Winding:
We offer winding services at a rate of $1 per 100 yards, rounding down to the closest dollar. Please contact us to arrange for winding services.
