About Tokyoinspired

Hello! I am Kato, the boss here at TokyoInspired

Helena thinks she is the boss, just because she does all the work, but we all know I am the one in charge, the one who decides everything, and the inspiration. We have a new employee, Bamse, an Italian greyhound, but he is of no help whatsoever. After all, he is only a dog. Helena thought she would make some greyhound items, but I soon put a stop to that silly idea. And that is it, no more animal paws or human hands involved, all you see in the shop is made by us. (Sadly, my brother Simba, the sweetest cuddliest cat ever, left us last year. There are still a few photos of him in the shop.)

It all started in Tokyo, where I come from, hence the name of our shop. Helena used to work as an accountant, and was hardly ever home, In Tokyo she had some more free time, and started sewing and screen printing. She loves crafting and sewing, and has done it for fun since she grew up in a small town in northern Sweden. Now, she realised that other people liked what she was doing, and wanted to buy it. The shop took off, and the only accounting she does now is for us.
We left Japan and moved to Milan, Italy, and continued with the shop. It is still such a thrill to send out the hungry cats ( my minions) all over the world. We get rave reviews, so I guess our customers like them as much as I do.

If you want to know more, ask Helena, I delegated customer relations to her.
Thank you for stopping by, pleased to meet you! Meeeooow!
