A printmaker inspired by architecture

My name is Tom Mitchell and I studied Illustration at The University of the West of England (UWE). I graduated in 2017 and have since specialised in Linocut printmaking. My work is inspired mostly by cityscapes, architecture, urban scenes and places of particular interest to me. I have also started to produce a few quirky/fun animal prints.

All my Linocuts are hand printed to a high quality using an etching press and larger prints with a Japanese Baren tool. I print using a range of quality printmaking papers that last a lifetime if the print is looked after well. All prints are signed, titled and editioned by me. I also produce my Linocuts into greetings cards on excellent silk white card and are printed in Dorset, UK.

Most of my recent work is on Etsy to purchase, however if you see a piece on my website that interests you and isn’t for sale don’t hesitate to get in touch! If you like my work and would fancy a personal commission I am open for Lino print commissions.

Frequently asked questions
Gift wrapping and packaging

If you are buying a print as a present I am happy to gift wrap it and write a personal message on a greetings card on your behalf, at no extra cost. Please let me know when purchasing.

Care instructions

Larger prints come wrapped in acid-free tissue paper for protection and rolled in a sturdy cardboard tube (see item details for more information).
Smaller prints come wrapped in a cellophane bag with strong cardboard backing on both sides for protection. Please be aware that there may be slight variations from print to print due to their hand-made nature.
All cards come wrapped in a cellophane sleeve and deliveries in an envelope.
All items will be delivered with one of my business cards and a little thank you note from me for supporting my business!

Sizing details

All my linocuts vary in size. Please see the items details for sizing of each print. I give the exact dimensions of both the paper and the actual print (cm) in case you want to measure up for a mount/frame before the print is delivered.

Wholesale availability

If you would like to purchase anything in large quantities then please email me directly at t.h.mitchell280@gmail.com.

Refunds and Exchanges

Any item that arrives damaged when delivered I will be happy to replace. Just send me a photo of the damage and I can get a replacement out to you as soon as I can. If you would like to exchange an item for another in my shop I am also happy to do this. Just post the item back to me within 30 days of delivery.

Processing Time

Some items vary for the time it takes to prepare an order. My large scale Linocuts could take up to 1-2 weeks to prepare and deliver as I only keep a couple of these in stock due to the size of them.
