About Tomillustrationart

Sales 205
On Etsy since 2018

A printmaker inspired by architecture

My name Tom and I enjoy creating linocut prints in my spare time and have been selling my work on Etsy for over three years now. I have always enjoyed art, but particularly linocuts. I studied Illustration in Bristol for three years and I have continued to developed my work ever since. My work is inspired mostly by cityscapes, architecture, urban scenes and places of particular interest to me. I have also produced a few quirky/fun animal prints.

All my Linocuts are hand printed to a high quality using an etching press and larger prints with a Japanese Baren tool. I print using a range of quality printmaking papers that last a lifetime if the print is looked after well. All prints are signed, titled and editioned by me. I also produce my Linocuts into greetings cards on excellent silk white card and are printed in Dorset, UK.

Most of my recent work is on Etsy to purchase, however if you see a piece on my website that interests you and isn’t for sale don’t hesitate to get in touch! If you like my work and would fancy a personal commission I am open for Lino print commissions.

Frequently asked questions
Gift wrapping and packaging

If you are buying a print as a present I am happy to gift wrap it and write a personal message on a greetings card on your behalf, at no extra cost. Please let me know when purchasing.

Care instructions

Larger prints come wrapped in acid-free tissue paper for protection and rolled in a sturdy cardboard tube (see item details for more information).
Smaller prints come wrapped in a cellophane bag with strong cardboard backing on both sides for protection. Please be aware that there may be slight variations from print to print due to their hand-made nature.
All cards come wrapped in a cellophane sleeve with a thank you note from me and delivered in a hard backed envelope.
All prints will be delivered with a business card and a little thank you note from me.
Thanks for supporting my business!

Sizing details

All my linocuts vary in size. Please see the items details for sizing of each print. I give the exact dimensions of both the paper and the actual print (cm) in case you want to measure up for a mount/frame before the print is delivered.
