Born in Novi Sad, Serbia, May 21. 1976.

Darko Topalski is an award-winning painter, full-time professional artist, classical realist painter.
Graduated at the “Academy of Classical Painting” in Sremska Kamenica, Serbia.

Topalski has concentrated his artistic achievement working with different art mediums, mostly in oils, being in a constant quest for further development of his painting and drawing skills.

His work is widely collected both nationally and internationally and may be found in numerous private and corporate collections from USA, UK, France, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, Belgium, Japan, Ireland, Canada, Australia, Germany, Russia, Sweden, Mexico, Hong Kong, Serbia, Montenegro,…

Showed interests in drawing, painting and photography from very early stage which are persistently developed. Attended courses, workshops and worked with other artists.

“I like the very process of creation when you make something with the completely new value out of nothing. With every painting, I’m setting certain tasks in front of me which are to be fulfilled, but above everything I'm trying to do something more with each new painting. After some time when painting is finished, when I look at it I'm trying to find that one more brushstroke, another layer of paint, or one more glazing layer.”
