I print my linocuts using a manually operated press, so each print is truly created by the hand of the artist.

Celebrating Queer Culture
As a designer turned artist, I've found my niche in an artistic method that let's me combine art and science to create beautiful art prints. My medium known as 'linocut' is a modern printmaking technique used by artists like Picasso and Matisse. This method involves carving intricate designs into a slab of linoleum and printing it into paper like a giant rubber stamp. The result displays beautiful graphic art filled with clean lifework and stark contrasting designs.
Drawing from many art movements, his aesthetic is largely influenced by his time living in Japan, pulling elements from classic Japanese woodblock prints to modern anime. The glamour and stylized characters in his work are also inspired by the Art Deco style ubiquitous with his hometown of Detroit. Taking from personal experiences, his work aims to amplify voices of the LGBTQ community with images and storytelling from a Queer perspective. He uses his artwork to celebrate his people and culture.
