Lacquer Lover.

I love nail lacquers and have quite a collection. As I purchased more, I expanded into independent brands to gain variety, came to love the independent polish community, and wanted to be a member of it. I took my creative side and business sense to form Tough As Nails Lacquer. I hope you can see the love I put into each of my lacquers and love them yourself.

Welcome to Tough As Nails Lacquer!

All lacquers are handmade by me with base, micas/pigments, and/or glitter. They are 3 Free, meaning that they do not contain Dibutyl Phthalate, Formaldehyde, or Toluene.

All bottles contain two stainless steel balls to facilitate mixing. For best results, shake your lacquer well before each application and wait for each coat to dry before applying the next.

This is my first love but second job for the time being. My lacquers are available in limited amounts and I strive for quality over quantity. I am constantly developing new lacquers so stay tuned for new additions!

I have formulations for all of my lacquers and hand make them in small batches. Due to the handmade nature of my lacquers, there may be slight variations from batch to batch.

All items offered for sale have already been created and are ready for shipment.

I do not test my products on animals.

My goal is that each customer is happy with his or her purchase and I take great care in creating, packaging, and shipping my lacquers. However, I am also aware that sometimes problems arise.

I am more than willing to work with anyone who experiences the following problems to make the purchase right:
-- Goods damaged during shipping
-- Item(s) inconsistent with the product description and/or photographs on Etsy

In the unfortunate event that your purchase is faulty in the aforementioned ways, you must contact me within 7 days of purchase in order to be eligible for any corrective actions that may be appropriate. You must supply me with photographic evidence of the problem and we will then work together to make you happy. If more than 30 days have elapsed from your date of purchase, you waive eligibility for corrective action.

Due to health and safety reasons, there are no exchanges.
I currently accept payment via PayPal and direct checkout.

All sales are final.

Those located in Michigan are subject to state sales tax.
At this time, I ship to the United States and Canada. If you are located in another country, please message me and I will quote you a shipping cost.

If you are in the United States, your order will be shipped within 3-5 business days of purchase via the United States Postal Service, with a delivery confirmation number that is sent to you via PayPal or Etsy, depending on how you purchased your polish.

If you are in Canada, your order will ship out on Saturday or Monday mornings via the United States Postal Service. Purchases outside of the US are made at the buyers' risk, as I will not refund if your package never arrives to you and am not responsible for anything that customs does once the polish is dropped off at the post office.

All orders are packaged carefully to prevent breakage or spillage and I work hard to keep shipping costs to a minimum. If you have a suggestion on how I can lower shipping costs, I would love to hear it!

At this time, I am unable to offer combined shipping on multiple purchases.

Orders within the US will all have tracking numbers. If you would like insurance added to your purchase, please contact me before making it so that I can include that in shipping costs. After the package has been received by the post office, I have little to no control over what happens. Please contact your local post office if a package is marked as being delivered but wasn't or if a package is stuck in shipping limbo. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to assist you.

I aim to ship out twice a week, depending on the day of the week sales take place.

I warrant that all lacquers have been tested for a minimum of 30 days before offered for sale. They are typically tested for a minimum of 60 days before being offered for sale.
