I have been collecting vintage dresses since I can remember.
I opened up shop in 1999, fresh out of FIT with a BA in Fashion Design. Over the past 17 years, my shop has grown and grown and I still love what I do. I love selling on Etsy and sending beautiful things all over the world.

Frequently asked questions
Vintage clothing fits differently than modern clothing, which is cut loosely to fit a wide variety of body shapes. Vintage clothing is cut much closer to the body than you may be used to. For this reason, it is important that you allow enough wearing ease to move comfortably while wearing your vintage garment. Vintage garments should always be worn with care and consideration of their age.
Vintage garments were often tailored to fit an individual woman and evidence of seams and darts being taken in or out is not uncommon. For this reason, it is often possible to have a vintage garment altered to fit you if your measurements are off by just a bit. I am happy to answer any questions about available seam allowances, darts, and hem allowances
Do you accept returns?

Though all sales are considered final returns are reviewed on a case by case basis, primarily only if there was a significant error in the listing. Shipping charges are non-refundable. Because great care is taken to provide accurate measurements on each garment, returns due to poor fit are not accepted. Returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee. Items from the 1920's and earlier are non-returnable due to their fragile nature.
Due to the unique nature of vintage clothing, there might be the occasional slight and trivial imperfection. Although Tova' Vintage takes great care of the used garment(s), they have had a previous life. Again, vintage items are sold "as is".
Can I reserve an item?
Reserves/holds are available for 24 hours. If you need more than 24 hours please contact us to set up a non-refundable deposit. Please do not reserve an item if you are not 100% sure you will purchase it. Tova's Vintage also has the right to refuse a reserve request.
How long will international shipping take?
International buyers, please note that you are responsible for all VAT, import fees and taxes imposed by your country.
Due to the rising costs of shipping we are now sending all international orders FIRST CLASS instead of priority. If you would like a quote on Priority instead of first class, contact me. Please note that first class mail may take from 2-4 weeks for international destinations.
Tovas Vintage is not responsible for lost packages. All domestic packages are shipped with tracking & international packages are mailed First-class International mail or Priority Mail (upon request) & both are tracked until the package's departure from the United States. Once a package has left the U.S. the package is no longer tracked.
