Announcement   Welcome to T-Party Antiques, where I sell antique, vintage and handmade goods for the home. I have an eye for finding hidden gems at flea markets and estate sales. Coming up with fresh, clever uses for these discoveries, and sharing them with you, is one of my favorite pastimes.

I am a former tea room owner and just like a good cup of tea, my Etsy shop is infused with things that radiate warmth and a touch of sweetness. I stock a selection of vintage and handmade goodness — things I love most, like pottery, textiles, books, toys and more.

About

Hi! I'm Susan, a designer, writer, photographer and stylist who is passionate about all things vintage.

I live in a cozy 1925 cottage in the seaside village of Rowayton, CT with my husband, John, and two grown children. I work (and play) in my home studio: a colorful, happy oasis brimming with all of my favorite things. From a cheerful medley of 1950s picnic tins to the charm of a floral tablecloth, I am inspired by all things vintage. I spend my days finding and repurposing antiques, making/selling items on Etsy, writing/styling articles for magazines, and updating my blog and Instagram feed.

I was born in Cleveland, OH to immigrant parents. I always loved to create things, so I become a graphic designer when I grew up. I worked for several firms in NYC before founding my own design company in 1987. However, after 24 years, I yearned to try something new. Collecting and selling antiques had long been my passion and I dreamed of having a shop of my own. So, in 2003 T-Party Antiques and Tea Room opened its doors in an 1890 farmhouse in Darien, CT. For five memorable years, I provided my loyal patrons with afternoon tea as well as an array of vintage wares.

Today, the T-Party spirit lives on and serves as inspiration for the handmade and vintage goods I sell here on Etsy. I suppose I will always be a designer at heart, and my unique sense of style infuses the creative projects I continue to pursue.

Your satisfaction is my top priority! When a package from T-Party Antiques is waiting on your doorstep, I want you to be surprised at how quickly it arrived, impressed with the care that was taken in getting it to you safely, and thrilled at how chock full of vintage goodness it is.

I take great care in selecting the items offered for sale in my shop. These vintage finds have good karma and may also have imperfections that come from being well loved. You can be sure that they are authentically vintage, not "vintage-inspired" or newly made to look old.
