Lovely fabric and print! Very clever packaging and a handwritten note lends a nice personal touch!

About

My Creative (Sometimes Chaotic) Process

I started my shop with the intention to share something simple that I enjoyed with others. I had made a stack of cloth napkins that came to completely replace any paper napkins that were in my household. Not only that- they added color and style to our otherwise drab rental apartment (which we were not allowed to paint). I have since been inspired to design and create several styles of aprons as well. Now I just love hunting for new and fun fabrics that I can turn into a fixture of someone else's home decor. Napkins are such an easy and inexpensive way to add a bit of excitement to a dining room. And hopefully my aprons are the sort that one would wear even after the guests have arrived and dinner is ready!

There are more steps to making napkins than one might realize. Here's a quick breakdown of what goes into each and every set I make:
Iron, cut, fold, sew, trim, flip, iron, sew, fold, and package! That's the short version, of course. But I take great care to assure that anyone who ends up with my products can happily enjoy them for years!

I have been sewing for as long as I can remember. I love the creative process of designing something and then seeing it as a tangible finished product. These days I often find myself creating with a little one on my lap, learning as I once did.

Welcome to Traditionally Unique!
I package my items using recycled materials unless otherwise requested. I am also a big believer in shopping locally when possible so if you live in Southern California and prefer to pick up your items rather than wait for shipping, please convo me so we can make arrangements. I am happy to meet you face to face.

I hope that you will find this to be a one stop shop for you and your family.
