This piece is fabulous and exactly as described❣The craftsmanship and attention to detail is obvious in every detail. Love the wood tray. Very well done and such a nice touch. The hardware is perfectly placed. Carefully packaged and promptly delivered. I'm going to enjoy using it for some time. Thank you Andrew!

The chalkboard was even nicer than I expected. Clean lines, constructed with care, and packaged incredibly well. There was even an eraser and box of chalk included, which I didn't expect. Thank you! Will be back again I'm sure.

About

Modern and Sustainable Design and Woodworking Projects

Originally from Southern California, I grew up near the unique and precarious homes along the ocean and in the foothills and had an interest in design early on.

Currently I do some residential building design and do woodworking projects for local clients here in Boise, Idaho. And I of course sell some of my handmade work on Etsy. I have a small workshop, work alone, and take a lot of pride in my unique style and craftsmanship.

With an interest in sustainability I often work with salvaged lumber and engineered wood which is from smaller (not old growth) trees. My new favorite is beetle kill pine (salvaged trees killed by the pine bark beetle), it has an incredible variety of color patterns primarily in mixed grays. It’s very fun to work with!

Please send me a conversation if you have questions or would like to place a custom order. And thank you for visiting This Century Modern!

Accepted payment methods

  • Accepts Etsy gift cards
Payment
I accept payments using Direct Checkout, including gift cards, as well as PayPal. Both accept credit cards.
Shipping
FedEx Ground is my preferred shipper, everything I ship is very well packed since damage is not an option. Since I'm the guy putting it in the box, I'm responsible for getting it there in one piece. Unfortunately I am not currently shipping outside of the U.S.

Once I process your shipment I'll send you a message with a tracking number. Fed Ex requires a phone number on the shipping label so providing one would be helpful. Some smaller items will ship via U.S.P.S.

In the unlikely event that there is damage during shipping, Fed Ex will possibly want to inspect the box. Also, a photo of the damaged item and box will be needed prior to arranging a refund or replacement. But as I mentioned, it's all very well packed.
Refunds and Exchanges
Sales of handmade artisan products are usually considered final so please read my listings carefully and ask questions if my photos or information aren't clear. If you're placing a custom order, let's work together to make sure all of the details are correct.
Additional policies and FAQs
An Etsy store is a small business and I do my absolute best to ensure my customers are happy. I don't have employees, I'm a designer and woodworker who sells unique and original handmade items and I rely on quality and customer satisfaction to survive.

Reviews: Etsy offers a review system and positive reviews are always greatly appreciated and help future customers shop with confidence.
