About

nature with nature, knitting spinning dyeing one step more

Story so far ....
I had dream, or idea, but never space, time ....
I love knitting, it took from my life quite a bit. I sat and knitted, and world moved around (still moving), people changed, gone and come, get lost. I had one more jumper, two more jumper, after while come teddies (see my another shop - TIMRAVA), things changed, come new country, new people, and I was with my knitting, always.
I like simple things. I love walking, I love simple black strong coffee, I love when what I do doesn`t harm, and I don`t like to be rush.
I wanted be gardener, I was gardener, for short time, I wasn`t bad. I knew how to plant how to grove, only never remember what I am growing.
So after while when world turn up side down, and I diced I am now grown up person, since now I would be only older, and I read on one very sophisticate blog, than the right time to plant tree was yesterday and next right time for planting tree is right now. So I ordered some seeds, ordered wool which I would love to knit with, I bought more books, checked more blogs, I get inspired and I get envy some very cleaver people ... and I opened shop......
Every one ball, skein it is my learning process, same as knitting, learning with every new pattern.
Plants dyeing it is so beautifully unpredictable, ideal...........

And as you get guess, I am not English....

Frequently asked questions

Care instructions

Washing and care.
I am doing my best to rinse and wash every skein individually to remove any excess dye.

It is strongly recommended to wash any yarn or fibers in ph neutral solution, it is also recommended than ordinary dishwashing liquid (dishwashing detergent) will do the job. Water temperature shouldn't be more than 30 degree Celsius, or room temperature, cold.
Hand wash only, (if you give it so much time to make it, some nice bath time just add to the relation)
Keep vinegar or any acid away

Any project should be lay flat to dry.
Also try to avoid direct sun for long time.

As any natural dye, colour will fade by the time, depends on the use and storage condition.

Care instructions

My wool is make in small amount.
Plants are foraged locally, in woods, on the fields.
I am using also dyed extracts - which are highly concentrated powder or liquids from whole dyestuff.
For mordant I am using allum (Aluminum potassium sulfate)
