Announcement   I enjoy making functional forms because the end result is both aesthetically pleasing and something that is interacted with on a personal level. After throwing the pieces on the potter’s wheel, I manipulate the form to accentuate the use and heighten the experience for the user both visually and physically. I then use imagery inspired from nature and the Art Nouveau architect Victor Horta to further emphasize the surface of the form.

The intent of my work is to reflect on a time when families and friends stepped away from the day to day and enjoyed each other’s company. Today, picnics, dinners, and tea have been replaced with TV dinners, drive through windows, and energy drinks. My art celebrates an era when these functional pieces brought families together and teatime was more important than TV.

Thanks so much for visiting my store. My main goal with the art I make is to educate. It is my hope that when you view my shop, or buy my art, you can learn from the experience. My goal with each piece is to break down the complex ideas and techniques I use in my work and let you experience, understand, and enjoy those ideas with everyday use.

Payment
For purchases on Etsy I will accept Pay Pal (preferred method) or money orders.

PayPal is recommended for purchases. A purchase made through PayPal will result in very quick delivery, shipping out the same day or the next day in most cases.

All payments must be received before the order will be shipped. Money orders that are not received within ten business days will be considered a canceled order.

Cancellation Policy: Orders may be can canceled only before the item is shipped to the customer.
Shipping
Shipping:
When I receive notice that you purchased something, I will send you a quick conversation letting you know when I will get it in the mail. I try to ship within 24 hours of payment whenever possible. Most items will be shipped using Fed Ex and usually are delivered within a week anywhere in the US.

Multiple Items:
If you purchase more than one item you will be charged shipping for each. However, if there are excess funds left from shipping costs I will refund you that amount back into your PayPal account. I will only charge you what it costs.

International Shipping:
If you are outside the US and the cost of shipping is less than what I charge during purchase, I will refund the remaining amount.

Packing Material:
I try to be resourceful and reuse packaging whenever possible. It just seems a waste not to. That said, I will never risk the safety of my work with sketchy packaging. All materials are in good, clean, condition and adequately protect the work.
Refunds and Exchanges
I offer two types of returns. If the item arrives broken, cracked, chipped or in some other way flawed, I will replace or refund it. I will pay for the return shipment or (preferably) have you send me a photo of the flaw, then a photo of the piece after you destroy it. This is highly unlikely because I inspect everything several times and package well, but nonetheless, things can happen and I want you to know that I will make it right.

If you purchase an item and decide that it isn't the right piece for you, please let me know right away. I will have you ship it back to me (you pay return shipping), and I can then ship you another one at my expense, or refund your money, whichever works best for the situation.

I really don’t mind returns. My main goal is for you to be happy with your purchase and enjoy experiencing the work.
