Why Treasure of Crows?

When trying to come up with a name for my fledgling jewelry business, I was making some rings and my quaker parrot, JJ, kept stealing my leftover wire and wrapping it in the bars of his cage. This got me to thinking about how crows are also known for stealing 'sparkly' things to decorate their nests. Because of their social nature, ability to thrive in human environments and their intelligence, I've always LOVED crows! As 'sparkly' as my jewelry is, I could only hope it would be 'treasured' by the crows and the name, Treasure of Crows was born!

Colors, Curves & Swirls - Oh My!
Creating jewelry out of wire, stone and bead has become a passion for me and am constantly dazzled by all the beautiful colors and enthralled with the creation of so many curves, swirls and designs.

Fairies, nature, art and the mystical are my design inspirations and hopefully they will inspire you!

Frequently asked questions
Sizing details

Most of my rings are adjustable and you can choose the ring in small, medium or large (if you know the exact size you need, please list it in the comments during the checkout process). If the ring is still a bit large, gently press the sides of the ring together around your finger until it fits. If a little small, the ring can be slightly widened by gently pulling it open. But please be careful -- you don't want to pull it out of shape!

Our rings are shipped in small, cotton filled boxes so they’re ready to give as a gift! (Or keep as a gift for yourself :) They are then placed within a bubble mailer and shipped to you.

Wire Information

When starting my jewelry business, it was important for my jewelry to be beautiful AND AFFORDABLE! So, instead of using precious metals such as silver and gold, I researched other wire options to find one that was beautiful, durable and colorfast. I first tried raw metals such as copper and brass -- but they tarnished WAY too quickly. So then, I moved on to coated wire and tried the wire from a bunch of different companies -- testing for quality, wire hardness, durability and colorfastness. The non-tarnish coated copper wire from Parawire became a clear winner! (I am not affiliated with Parawire in any way.) This wire met all my expectations and then some and is now the only wire use for all my jewelry.
