It's always hard to pick my favorites in this shop (definitely one of my favorite shops in Etsy). There is so much movement to the pieces, and this one is a beautiful example of that. I bought it when snow was still on the ground in Michigan and the air chilled you deep down, but looking at this piece, I almost felt an inner heat -- a radiating, creative fire for sure. One of the reasons why this shop is one of my favs is that if you don't find the perfect piece you're looking for, the shop owner will work with you to create a custom piece. So incredibly cool. Green! Green is not a color I would normally think I would be drawn to in a piece of art, but this one just kept pulling me. Is it partly because of the techniques? I am fascinated by the fact that April doesn't use brushes for her acrylics. How cool that she uses vintage painting knives ("some rusty, most bent," as she says) to such alluring effect.

My husband and I have two custom sets of April's work in our home. We're now running a business startup, and as we move into a new office, we knew we wanted to have the vibrant colors and unique expressions of TresArtsy creations to inspire us in our work space as well. This piece was so alluring because I felt as if I, as the viewer, get to create the story of what's happening on the horizon each time I look at it. April's abstract designs seem to do that -- they offer so much room for you to co-create the narrative happening on the canvas.

I'm in tears as I type. Rarely do I find a piece of clothing that fits the "me" that lives inside of me. I am a quirky spirit -forced to fit in a world where I'm misunderstood. This hooded, one-of-a-kind, multi-colored sweater appeared. I unwrapped it at the post office and felt like it was Birthday. It was wrapped like a gift. It is a gift. It is more well-made than any clothing I've ever bought at Nordstrom, Macy's or Penny's ..truly. And that the makers DNA is all over it makes me feel love. Bless you for making the inside me match the outside in this sweater. I'm in love.

Love my sweater. Only comment would be to make the hood a little shorter; it gets in the way when you wear it.
