All Tribes Are Welcome Here

When I was very young my favorite relative was my kooky great-aunt Clovis. My second favorite was Aunt Clovis' third husband, Harry, a retired carnival barker. They traveled the world and collected treasures. So many treasures they had to convert their garage into a sort of personal museum. I loved that place. To this day I still sometimes dream about being there.

Aunt Clovis' passion was jewelry. Boxes and boxes and boxes of jewelry from around the world. And she let me play with her jewelry. Naturally, I was always a princess. A Persian princess flying around on a magic carpet. An Indian princess riding an elephant. An African princess fighting lions in the Serengeti, though I wasn't quite sure where that was it sounded awesome. Aunt Clovis instilled in me a passion for tribal adornment and all that came with that. She also taught me to read tea leaves. I still have my special tea cup she gave me for that purpose.

I started Tribal Reverberations because of my love of our Tribal differences. We are one human family, but our family is made up of many, many tribes. This uniqueness is apparent in our tribal dress and adornments. I love to honor that.

Let me help you find your tribal expression.

I have always loved adornment. When I was a child we lived near a glass factory with a railroad track. I could always find melted colored glass chips along the track. So began my jewelry creations.
