Truly Madly Vintage

I've been collecting and selling vintage stuff for about 20 years - mostly from my own shop in my little hometown. I especially love buttons, costume jewelry, fabrics, and miscellaneous smalls - some from the forties, and also retro from the 70's or so. I've been a fresh flower florist, store manager for big corporations, dance teacher, child care provider -- it's been a long and eventful life and I've enjoyed myself a lot!

It is New Year's Day, 2014, as I write this and my resolution is to pay more attention to this shop!

We try to be as user-friendly as possible. We hope to have smooth, trouble-free transactions. We will answer emails and convos ASAP. We do have other jobs, but this doesn't usually take longer than 24 hours.

Payment
The only problem that we seem to have (thus far) with transactions has been a discrepancy between etsy and Paypal addresses. PLEASE be sure that your info is correct and the same on both sites BEFORE you purchase (it doesn't work retroactively). That way we can ship your purchase to you ASAP without the need to communicate back and forth, which takes time and inconveniences us both. Our policy is to ship to your Paypal address when that is your method of payment.

Most folks have been paying when they make their purchase -- YAY!!! But if that is not possible, please leave a message in the notes to seller which appears at the very bottom of your order letting us know when to expect payment. We will hold your purchase for three days before we void it.
Shipping
We will ship as soon as we have confirmation that funds have been received. We ship USPS First Class. We always package well. We do use recycled packing materials, but they will ALWAYS be clean and in good condition.

If you have special requirements - insurance, international shipping, priority, etc. - it is best to convo in advance of purchase. That way I can add your special needs to the shipping on that item and eliminate the need for a revised invoice.
Refunds and Exchanges
If you have a problem with your purchase, please, contact us and we will work something out. We ship well-packaged goods and have lots of experience packing and shipping. If your order is damaged in route to you, we would be extremely sorry and very upset with the postal service, but it would NOT be our fault. We therefore will not replace or refund orders damaged in shipment.
Additional policies and FAQs
All of our items are vintage. This, of course, means NOT new. So they have been handled or used or what-have-you. We try to take great pictures and we try to describe each item, flaws and all. We love that vintage look and feel and you must too, or you wouldn't be shopping at TrulyMadlyVintage!!!
